who we got in the cup

Featured Replies

It's going to be a great day I can just tell.

When we interview Kevin Grealish, we spoke about Notts v Villa as a friendly but this cup draw is one step better. It's the perfect way to catch up with the boy Grealish. Excellent tie really, I wasn't expecting it but we did also mention this would be a great game in the recent PONcast!

UTV and COYP!!

A field where dreams become reality.

Good draw, even better if we get a televised game.

It's been awhile since I have been to Villa Park, its a good ground visit. Now lets hope we dont get star struck and continue to play good football. Does anyone fancy our chances here?

Why did they draw it as they did? it was weirs to see. A good draw mind, I am buzzing to be able to watch Jack and I put money on him exchanging shirts unlike some!

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

We have had some good results at Villa Park over the years, and we are about due another.

They have improved recently but so have we. Just like the Liverpool match a while ago, there is nothing to lose,

What a draw. I said in the PONcast that this was one of the two premium ties we could have had - as none of the sides involved in Europe play in the second round, the best draws would have been Villa or Newcastle in terms of their prestige. Possibly Everton. The other PL teams wouldn't have been as glamorous to be fair - Stoke on a Tuesday night?! (although to the fair they're slowly morphing into Stoke-celona...)

Hopefully Jack Grealish will be fit and raring to go (he's just had a bit of time off for a slight injury) and he'll grace the pitch against the team where he took his first formative steps into becoming CR7 mark II! :P

Villa should be a great game, I hope it's on TV.

I do not see us winning, they have real quality but you never know. We gave a game to Liverpool with a poorly assembled squad, so why cant we give them a game??

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Really good draw. This is what the cups all about. Really looking forward to going to villa park. Good interesting connection with jack as well, so all round happy. And remember we beat Sunderland didn't we [emoji106][emoji460]ï¸[emoji95]

Better than Bournemouth away that's for sure! Short trip to a Premiership club. Happy with that. I wouldn't fear Villa and we have a chance. Lots of hype around the Premiership and not all of it is justified.....

An exciting draw, shame we weren't at home though.

Being underdogs should allow them to play without fear... let Villa do the worrying...

Bananaskin in the offing this one... Notts to lose in extra time... but we will give a good account of outselves... you just never know...
