I wonder if its anything to do with what Michael O'Connor suggested about the players not being paid.

any news on this? i hope there are no delays. :(

It's very quiet. Alan Hardy said that there's a "snag" that needs to be sorted out, and then contracts would be signed, so it was forseeable that they were in for a long session today. An announcement would calm my nerves though.

If the latest rumours are true, Alan Hardy's agenda is in the bin.

Should lock the gates on his way out if that's the case, because the club is finished. Trew will have us in admin and there is no chance of saving our league status.

Is this based on him removing the line "owner and chairman of Notts County FC" from his Twitter? He may have simply come over superstitious and decided not to count his chickens before they've hatched. I hope we hear more today, this talk isn't good for anyone.

Just checked Mr Hardy's Twitter feed. Two key quotes from last night and this morning:

"Really sorry for the radio silence. Still trying desperately to structure long term financial security for this great football club. Standby"

"We never envisaged this snag, hindsight etc."

"believe me; I have only one item on my To Do List today!"

They're clearly still working on it. Let's not panic yet.

A 1 million pound loan. That's a lot of money. Hopefully it's sorted.

What do you mean about a 1 million pound loan buddy?

It seems Mr Hardy wasn't aware of the loan when he agreed to purchase the club. Effectively it's another 1 million on top of what he agreed to pay. Understandably it's now a sticking point.

It feels like I'm watching a series of Dream Team. No group of fans should go through this much turmoil in merely supporting their club. If this deal doesn't go through, bearing in mind the years of misery we've endured and the promises we've been made, I really despair about what will happen to this club.

Someone's messed up somewhere then. You don't just "forget" a million quid.

the more this is prolonged the more i fear the reasoning behind the hedge funds figureheads tweet about us needing bigger investment.

ray said not that long ago we had no debts and that the club was operating without loss, now it appears we have been losing money all this time. it really becomes hard to understand why people dont see theres more to this.

Could this whole debt (to the HG family) just be an issue of AH wanting to restructure payments on the lease?

He did alude to it being the long term financial security so maybe there was a sliding scale put in place that needs to be re-adjusted in line with the clubs finances?

Its all speculation but every alley you down you do just keep wondering what the hell is going on at Notts.

I seem to remember him saying we had no debts, but can't recall any "the club is operating without loss" statement.  I think it's obvious that there has been a shortfall in the finances which needs to be filled, but it's hard to work out who by.  The rumours suggest that Ray won't / can't keep balancing the books.  I've heard that Derek Pavis and John Mounteney have been funding the debts in the past, but it's only what I've read on messageboards.
