I thought his contract expired in the summer? There was talk at one point about us supposedly aiming to acquire his services of a free.

I would welcome him back, he's a good player and will only improve further with game time. He's someone I think will be able to compete in the Championship if he can get the experience required. Hopefully we can get back or on a free if his contract is up, he'd be a great signing.

I think he recently signed a new contract. I would like to get him back but I don't want Notts relying on loans again

Ah, that's a shame then. I don't think we could afford to make them an offer for his services, so a loan would be good.

I don't mind the club topping up the squad with loans, provided we have the quality throughout the camp and they are players who bring something special. Players like McGregor, Grealish and Grant... Rather than those I dare not name!

If we are pushing for a league title this may encourage to come back, yet I would agree that him sitting on the bench would not be the best thing for his career. I would have him and Brisley starting regularly, they seem to make a good pairing at the back.

However, if Duffy does stay I doubt Nolan will do this.

I would welcome him back though.

I think its smart to bring in a young defender, so I would welcome Ben Hall back at Notts. I just hope we avoid too many loanees, I would prefer them to be in position where we may struggle to get quality though.

Defence is an area where you can always find someone suitable if you look.

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

I doubt Kevin Nolan would drop Richard Duffy enough to make it worthwhile, I would much rather us sign a decent young defender who is happy to play second fiddle and leave the loan spot available for a more important position.

Don't forget that Elliot Hewitt can cover as a CB.

As others have said, worth getting back if we guarantee him week in, week out football. To,sit on the bench? Not so sure. We might as well use the young lads from the apprentices for that.

He looked far more composed than Duffy so that is a bonus! (Still hoping the contract Duffs has been offered is a bottle of coke and a packet of ready salted crisps. I’ve heard he is a prawn cocktail man so he’ll turn it down and move onto pastures new!)

The majority seem to be up for welcoming him back, so it seems a no-brainer for Kevin Nolan.

Provided he was to play at least half the games or appear in as many, I don't think there's any negatives but I do agree that having him on the bench is a waste - especially for his age. I think he's a very capable young defender and, I would prefer him over Richard Duffy.

I'm not sure about the loan, if he was available on a free I would like Notts to snap him up but it all boils down to if he would start.

I don't like seeing a club waste loans on players that they won't play, it defeats the purpose of them.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
