Given the players we have at this point only (you can include the players offered contracts) what would be your line up for the first game of the season?

Mine would be

                         Fitzsimmons

Tootle          Duffy           Brisley       Jones

                              Husin

    Patching          Hewitt           Kellett

               Dennis          Hemmings

patching said he can do the defensive side of midfield but prefers to play further up, i think sticking him out wide will only force him out of position more than anything. i would push husin in his place with @Northants Pie team.

I would go with a mix of the two if I’m honest on this one from the to above they look good and have structure.

With a 4-1-3-2 formation you dont have wide men as such, they are what ised to be called inside left & inside right.

@Fan of Big Tone & @super_ram are old enough to remember when inside left & right were revolutionary

This is pretty close to what I would pick myself, I want to see what Patching and Crawford bring to the table before picking either over anyone else.

I’m loving all these different formations and set outs it says a lot for me that County can do know there team. The formations etc are do able and if I’m honest would love to see them used.

Three defenders at the back would be terrible, Notts needs to avoid trying to be flash and just focus on having a reliable formation that works with passing football. 4-4-2 all day long, unless we are lacking cover which I wouldn't assume is the case right now.

No need to try to revert to England's style or tactics.

I would prefer to see 4-4-2, only time it should change is when Notts play away. Team? I'll leave it until I see the friendlies to decide.

Hope we can re-sign O'Connor.

Kellett can play on the left with Jones.

I would hope that they could have that understanding that they would cover the other person when ones attacking, especially since Kellett can play at left back himself.
