Could facilities Be better

Are there any changers you would like to see made in terms of facilities food choice drink choice just generally things which will help improve medow Lane.

I'll list them in no piratically order.

  • Ensure staff are adequate at doing their job (follow food hygiene rules, polite and not lazy)
  • Check food temperatures properly (if something is supposed to be warm, keep it hot)
  • Work on adding better food options
  • Improve the options of drinks that are sold (including alcohol in the bar side of the Kop)
  • Modernise the food areas, this would speed things up immensely.

There's a few other things but I don't wish to go on.

Everything you have just said @Chris is spot on as a former chef hygiene and temperature check and trained staff is a must cause if not then people can become ill. Would hate to see that happen after the all the progress Hardy has done. Hopefully it will be put right.

The club should by now have things in place to ease the queues at half time, I don't like missing the game and for this reason I do not bother at half time.

I don't know if the club take a percentage of the vans earnings or charge them ground rent for being present on match days, yet I would rather see the clubs own facilities do this.

There has to be better food and drink options from the stands facilities.

I would praise the hospitality suites however, I went with some friends and family on a few occasions last season. It's spot on there, no disappointment as to be expected.

Quicker staff, better food and drink choices and just smarten these areas up.

They look neglected.

The staff need to motor a little more! Rather than swagger along talking to mates! Also the lack of half time food. Lost count of times I’ve been told we ran out sorry...what five minutes before half time? Was their a prematch pie eating contest I didn’t know about?

i think standards are about right for this league, they could offer a better range of food and modernise the areas. quick ways to pay would be massive, not just being slow at giving someone the right amount of change.

i am surprised we dont handle wireless payments.

The staff around my age are terrible for this and some of the older ones can be really grumpy, I do think the customer service is pretty poor at Notts due to the temporary staff situation.

And this is unlikely to change.

I think the standards are fine, just the routines and methods should be improved. Quicker service would earn the club more on match days but to be honest, I don't often have trouble.

Agreed. As others have said, contactless payment points would help things along a little. Also a few vending machines with the same selling price in the area to remove as many queues as possible.

Yeah I heard about the half time que and things only when I went to medow Lane I saw it for my self and the facility’s. The toilets definitely need a bit of work and so do food and drink stalls to ease the ques. There could be others but I think that’s the things that need sorting out first.

I think I saw AH say on Twitter that wireless payments would be in place for the new season.

Some bins around Meadow Lane would be nice, I'm sick of walking through the rubbish people dump on the ground.

The rubbish on the ground yeah dose need to be addressed. It’s great that Alan Hardy is trying to do more at medow Lane paying by card could be a good idea but the food stalls do need sorting though

Have you seen the idiots dropping chips near the steps? Crazy behaviour but the rubbish is just nasty at times.

Yeah dropping the chips is bloody outrages and dangerous as well. @Chris said that @super_pie almost slipped on one and fell. It’s dangerous to everyone and needs sorting. The rubbish is grim very grim mate

I think so but its fair to mention that any facilities can improve, its just a question of at what cost?

Has anyone been to see a hockey game? The service at The Nottingham Panthers makes Meadow Lane seem like it's 4 stars. I just think we have to balance our expectations a little. I would rather the money be spent on the squad.

Was @super_pie okay? I have seen elderly fans also fall due to this. :(

The stands need to be brought back up to date, the standard is not good enough and this is the real reason why there are catering vans on match day.
