Keep the wins going, we've beat the higher up teams, we can do it.

Newport should be an easier test than Lincoln and Mansfield, yet we cannot write them off still.

Just play as we have, I am confident if this happens a good result will come.

Notts have to play with the same type of attitude and confidence as we have seen in recent weeks, just pass a bit faster because Newport prefer to slow down the games they play so that it favours their style.

I hope they keep on fighting and play as they have since the new signings, some of these players could do with looking into keeping long term.

got to make it two wins back to back.

i would be happy with a point with the recent performances but a win would make a massive difference.

Newport County will play a lot like Mansfield Town, dirty and trying anything to slow the game down. They'll want to dictate the tempo and if we allow them to get a foot hold of the game, I think it will be more open.

However I am confident that with the up lift in form, Notts can get back-to-back wins.

Amazing turn around, yet I would be more than happy with a draw. A win just means so much more!

I'm sure Ardley has learnt what the new Notts squad are capable of. He will have it all in hand.

A good result and we could be in dreamland for the first time this season, the form and confidence is a massive point now.

Newport are there for the taking.

what does everyone think the lineup will be? i would not change much but we only played a few days before and if we want to make the most of newport potentially being tired the odd fresh face could work.

I don't think much will be changed. Unless he wants to rest the odd player ready for the away game.

A good chance for us to prove we want to stay up not fail.

I am looking forward to the night game, under the floodlights with vocal support. It will be enough to encourage this squad who has a lot of fight and passion! Three points please lads.

The boss said that there are a few suffering after Saturday and won’t know until today if they will be ok. How many a few is, what position and who they are could be fundamental. I’m sure he would want to keep a winning team but playing with the intensity that we have in the last 3 games may have taken it’s toll.

I am hoping Notts can deal well with Newport, they will try all the games in the book to slow the game down.

There just needs to be a flash of magic by Enzio or someone else, I would happily take a 1-0 win over a game which might see us concede after pushing to kill off the game.

Good luck to everyone there tonight, bring back 3 points please.

No Rams match tonight so Notts game will have @GrannyPie's and my full attention.I wonder if Newport will suffer a reaction after their cup game v Man City.Notts players should be full of confidence after the last 3 games.I just hope it's not a case of 'after the Lord Mayor's show' but Notts carry on with their new found form.Wishing Notts all the best for tonight.

Currently not looking good but its not even half time, can we pull it back?

Posted

I think they have shown why they have been on the bench. Go back to the winning team. 1-3 at half time :(

Posted

Oh no, 1-4 .. a few changes to the squad tonight and such a big difference.

Posted

Newport County asserted the same pressure that Notts did against Mansfield, only difference is they pushed for a second goal and never gave up. We sat on the Mansfield lead and we thought going 1-1 we could grind out a draw.

Posted

Poor defensively, the inexperience showed massively and I felt the two young centre backs was at fault as they left their areas wide open to be exploited. Too much space and time I am afraid.

Posted

I'm annoyed and disappointed, very poor performance and it could have been different. 3 points dropped to a relegation candidate like ourselves just seems poor. First game in which I did but I left early. I couldn't accept it.

Posted

Terrible defending cost the game, just mistakes after mistakes. Nobody at the back had a good game and I refuse to believe that Rob Milsom is the best left back that the club has. I would rather see Cedric Evina in there, he's far better going forward.
