Glad that Hewitt and Milsom have been binned off. Two woeful footballers

Stead is too old and needed to move on

Wouldn't be surprised if O'Brien has activated his relegation clause.

Would this mean he would be retained or would it be a be a payoff fee? I haven't heard much about him having a relegation clause myself, yet if he does I doubt it would be used now unless it was to see him be paid off.

I'm happy overall, it's a good clear out.

It's good to see some of the younger players offered new deals such as Owen Betts, he should have a chance to come through now. The club needs to look at the young professionals and give them time.

pretty standard and to be as expected, would compare it to what the post wrote but i am too lazy to load up the site. 😛

Wow. Wasn’t expecting everyone to go, equally didn’t think we’d have so many left… 17!

1 GK
4 Defenders
8 Midfielders
4 Strikers

I’m still not confident the likes of Enzio, Hemmings & Dennis will stay but if they do we’d only really need to sign defenders, a keeper and a CM assuming (and I really hope) we only want a squad of between 22-25 players.

There’s a few players I’m disappointed to see leave I like Dan Jones and John stead and think they would have helped us next season. Same with Jim O’Brien always shown he wanted to be there.

I am content with the list, not much Notts could do otherwise and I think its quite balanced.

Any remaining might be sold or let go, there is room but the squad needs a good shake up.

Happy with it, not sure what I would have done differently.

Get a new goalkeeper and a few others, get rid of a few more from last season. Some of those we didnt even see at all last season, theres really no point.

Two players Notts have been obsessed and hung onto mostly due to popularity in my humble opinion.

Neither have shown their full promise, so such a waste in having them.

The right players have been released, it’s good none of them have been offered new deals. What are the chances of Mansfield signing Richard Duffy?

looking at the retained list again I’m shocked to see Vaughan leave he has the experience I think we need as well as youth to build a solid foundation so promotion and then staying in league two would happen. Vaughan is a good player who uses the spaces around and can send quality passes I think we may miss him.

I don’t think it could have been better, I was well happy to see Duffy and Brisley let go.

From my remote position I think it’s obvious that those released was just out of contract, but I think all the right players have been allowed to move on.
