The new shirts have landed

And here they are. Thoughts?

KIT DETAIL 2.png

The home shirt isn't stripey enough for my liking - the big white patch on the front makes it look like the Cornwall flag (look it up!). It'll be sponsored by Utilita during August, then we'll see. Maybe it'll look better with a sponsor on. But I do like the black shorts / white socks combination, that should take us back to happier times :)

That away shirt is mint though! I don't know why but I've always fancied seeing us in green away from home. It's a nice change from blue and a whole lot classier.

Think i'll stick with last years, the home one looks odd without proper stripes and i dont like green. A positive is the shirts wont cost our family a fortune as most of us don't like them 🤣

I don’t get it. If we are allowing shirts to be sold without sponsorship, then why have we picked a design with a whacking big gap designed for a sponsor? It looks ridiculous, the black should be a continuous stripe on each side.

But like you say, it will probably look much better with a sponsor on it, but then we should be marketing it as such… Just a shame cos it’s potentially a missed opportunity to bring in some cash for the season.

I like the away kit, simple but nice. It reminds me of the South African rugby kit.

I don't mind either, I do think its ironic that there's a massive cross in the middle of the home kit and we are now owned by Danish people.

Nothing wrong with the away shirt, it's Nottingham colours but reminds me of the cricket top.

I like the shirts, I think they're smart.

The only thing I am unsure about is the home socks, it looks a bit naff the way "Notts" is written on them. I would have stuck with NCFC.

I think the home shirt is too plain for my liking, the black stripes are too thick and there's not enough of them. It looks like something off the peg, rather than designing for us itself. I've had a look, I can't find anything like it so it would appear to be custom/bespoke to Notts.

Still, I think it's rather ugly myself, but I openly admit it may grow on me.

The away shirt is nicer, although I need to see it in person. Both myself and @super_pie feel this is the one we will be getting, I might for a training top too.

Not bothered what they look like I’m grateful to Alex and Chris for stepping in to some very dirty and messy shoes and sorting this mess out so tomorrow our boys will proudly the new kit. And we can also wear it as well and its a sign things are getting better. I think this kit is what it represents not what it looks like.

im not that keen on them to be honest, but i will still buy the home shirt. i do think they might grow on me but preference sometimes difference. i dont get the mardy arses on facebook jumping the gun and trying to knock peoples opinions.

everyone should be somewhat different.

I fully agree @menzinho, it's the kind of kit that needs a sponsor, but then we sell it without one. The stripes should be continuous on the front at least. The stripes on the back are so token we might as well not have bothered.

The first Puma kits we had were excellent IMO and looked quality without a sponsor, but it's gone downhill since. Like @Chris I checked the Puma website because I assumed we'd be getting a standard design, and to be honest I prefer the off-the-peg kits. But at least we have white socks and a nice away kit. And it also means we won't be seeing last season's effort any more, which I'll always associate with relegation.

@DangerousSausage I really like this off-the-peg design, when I searched - Cheeky~K8 said she actually preferred it too. I think in time most will accept the kit after seeing it and allowing it to grow on them, I'd be lying if I didn't think the home kit could be better. Perhaps Hardy didn't put too much thought into it? Who knows, yet we've had some great designs over the years.

This could have been a great base mind!

The home shirt is quite ugly to be honest, I don't see why anyone would look like it. It don't look like something Notts would ever have.

Both the kits have grown on me, I think the home could be better but its different and quite smart. The away is perfect Nottinghamshire colours if you asked me.

Im too stubborn for any of them to grow on me. To me the home shirt was made to just be cheap and cut costs but seen as he never paid the bill anyway.

I am not impressed by either, I won't be buying one but I do think they make a change. Neither are for me though, I prefer my stripes and blue kits.

At least none of them are red.

Both looks very nice but the away one is mint.
