Just want start off with saying I hope you all had a lovely christmas and new year. Sorry I missed last weeks weekly round up, got caught up with work commitments. So I'm classing this one as week 3, even though it should be week 4.Β

Not a very interesting one this week unfortunately, been at work everyday since Thursday and my next day off is Thursday (just thinking of the money).

I did however start the new year off right at Maidenhead, with a lovely bunch of people and many memories were made.Β

Smashed my phone screen, which I found out it's going to cost me Β£100 to fixΒ ????Β

My new years resolutions are that I want to go down to London to watch a musical,Β to stay organised and to pass my driving test.

How has your week been and have you got any new years resolutions this year?Β

My week has been very out of routine which is nice to have a break. Back to normality tomorrow. New years and another day spent with family which is important.

I'm back at school now, I celebrated the new year with my family.

I went to Meadow Lane this past Saturday, I thought Notts did well and the atmosphere seems to be picking up.

Right up until New Year's eve I felt ill, I had that flu bug which did the rounds. I wasn't able to do much during those days, it irritated the pain I feel.

I did manage to go to see Granny and Super on New Year's eve.

Following day I felt unwell, but not the flu. Just tired.

I missed the Boxing Day game due to this, well, I felt a lot of pain too but that's normal to a degree.

Last Saturday, I managed to go to see Notts.

After that, I went to my in-laws New Years get together. I mostly hide in the back living room and entertained the kids, whilst feeling like a lethargic dummy. Day after, guess what? If you guessed I felt tired, you've won a prize! :rollonfloorlaughing:

Honestly, I am a boring young person. PS4, eating and working is all I did.

I might be the only PON member who didn't do anything for the new year, I don't see the point. I'm not big on drinking.

I think alot of people have been ill over the holidays.

I’ve recently started work on the upstairs, new plumbing has gone in and the air con is set to be upgraded tomorrow or Wednesday.

Christmas was a quiet one for me, no celebrations as such.

On the 27th I explored some of the local bars, it’s a different vibe than what you would expect in the UK.

New Years eve was nothing special either.

2 to 3 weeks and my home will be a paradise, I will have to sort the garden and garage out next.

Quite pricey when the screen replacement costs almost half of what a good smart phone does.

I know my phone cost me Β£330 and one place said Β£100 and one said Β£140. Think I'm going to leave it. It's in the top right corner,Β but when I go over it with my finger you can't feel anything.Β

Had a good Christmas apart from forgetting to put the peas out lol. BoxingΒ  Day at the Lane, New Years Eve in the Cave at the bottom of the garden with family and a few close friends and neighbours. New Years day had mum over for dinner, daughters for tea and now back at work (i work in schools, so on countdown to next holiday lol) and looking forward to the second half of the season at Meadow Lane. COYP CTID.Β

I spent Christmas doing the family run, at my age you don't have to cook on Christmas day itself. I had two dinners, spent time with my grandchildren.

Youngsters are too obsessed with technology these days.

New Years eve was quiet for me, I don't celebrate it.

Every year we spend new year's eve at the outlaws (in-laws). We eat, drink and exchange presents at midnight (they're Turkish). But this year we wanted a change, so we stayed in Darmstadt and went to a concert in a basement club instead, emerging into the street for the fireworks at midnight. It's best not to spend too long outside as everyone just buys their own fireworks and lets them off all over the place, it's insane. They even market fireworks for children. But the eveningΒ was fun, the singer was fantastic (she was on Voice of Germany a few years back) and it was all a nice change.

I didn't make any resolutions, but I do want to spend less of my evenings staring at my phone and do more socially. I'm increasingly getting the feeling that I only actually do anything at the weekend if at all, and you can't live like that.

Daylight robbery, put the money to a future replacement unless the price drops.

Back to normality after Christmas, I’m back at school. After I sometimes hang out with friends but not every day.
