So Notts have acquired two new players defender Ben Barclay from the Brighton seeing Ben Hall return to the Amex.ย

Then Notts acquiredย exspirenced midfielder Jim Oโ€™Brien with the gaffer heaping on praise saying he never stops.ย

keston Davis returned to his parent club and ended a season long early byย Mutual consent.ย

So my question is so far in the January transfer window are you happy with the business that Notts County have done.?

So Notts are away to Yeovil on Saturday .Whoโ€™s making the journey to Yeovil to see the magpies in action.

So the transfer market is open but we know that Notts are over spending on players we have the biggest team in league two and one of the biggest wage bills for me in order for Neal to sign we have to let players leave either release or sell.ย

Im just hoping it not Jamie Turley whom Iโ€™m told his contract runs out this month.ย

Which players would you be happy to see leave meadow lane in January in order for Neal to bring in fresh players in.?

Jamie Turley, says his goodbyes, as a new agreement canโ€™t be reached , sorry to see him go was better equipped in my opinion than many others for the dog fight we are in , gave his all , good luck to him as a free agent in finding another club , and thanks for your efforts while at the Lane .ย

Rumours suggest Forest have ripped up the loan deal of Jorgeย Grant who is on a season long at the hatters Luton Town.ย

Apparently Nottingham Forest have triggered a recall option on the midfielder who has made 22 appearances scoring just 4 for the league one side.ย

Forest didย the same last January with Ryan Yates whileย him and Grant was alsoย on loan with Notts.

Forest then sent Yates out on loan with a higher league side. Rumours suggest that is what will happenย with Grant. one thing is for sure heย wonโ€™t be heading to meadow lane according to Alan Hardy.

So Notts countyโ€™s fixture against Cambridge on Saturday at meadow lane will be rocking as ticketย sales have now reached 13,000 and 2,000 away fans with seats in the Derick Pavis especially the central part are selling out fastย withย the KOP also following suit in selling out fast.

ย last night I brought a ticket in the KOP and availabilityย was very limited.

I started running about 18 months ago, Iโ€™m 65 and had never done running before, in fact hated cross country at school. I was worried about my weight and fitness so I started gradually with an app called couch to 5k, which is a nine week course to literally take you from being a couch potato to running 5k.

Before I started I couldnโ€™t run 100 yards without collapsing in a heap, now I regularly run 5k at least three times a week. Iโ€™ve started doing the organised park runs, today I competed with over 350ย other people of different levels of ability, I came 233rd and 2nd for my age group, I beat a lot of people years younger than meย and did a personal best for me of just over 30 minutes, I felt so proud. Iโ€™ve lost over a stone in weight and feel physically and mentally a lot better than I did.

I can recommend it to anyone who is physically able itโ€™s great fun but start with the couch to 5k programme which starts you off very gradually with short runs followed by a walk to get your breath back and then gradually builds up your stamina and confidence until you can run 5k.

Would you give Jamie Turley a new deal?

There's no talk about the contract discussions yet, however his deal will soon expire and unless it's actually done and dusted behind the scenes - it's not looking promising. However, I am a big fan of Jamie's approach. He deals with threats quite well and is miles better than Richard Duffy (Turley actually tries).

In this league he's someone I would have in the squad any day of the week.

What do you think?

So forest have sacked there manager while first are in 7th and only lost 5 games like Norwich and Leeds th top two.ย

Got to say think Fawz has lost the plot here. ????????
