  1. All players based rating based on /10.

Fitz - 0 - Had nothing and I mean nothing to do all game apart from have an attempt at saving three or four chances. First goal was not his fault that is fine. But the other two watching him attempt a dive is painful. He's just lazy and it looks like he's lost all confidence in his own ability. Shocking!

Hawkridge - 7 - After being out for a while I thought he had a solid game and would have given him MOTM if he had played more minutes. Good effort from him. Really valued his effort today.

Hewitt - 5 - Bang average performance. A standard performance from what you would expect from him. Few sloppy errors but that's Hewitt for you.

Brisely - 5 - Same as Hewitt. Improved from recent weeks.

Jones - 4 - Good runs but sloppy deliveries and attempted one cross in the first half without even looking up. Lacking confidence again and it shows in his bang average performances at LB. Red card was deserved.

Boldewjin - 4 - Isolated and easily marked by the FGR defender, not his best performance and he needs to start creating more chances otherwise fans will start to get on his back. A day to forget from him.

Vaughan - 7 - MOTM for me, happy with his performance and worked hard all game. For a man of 35 to play as many minutes as he is doing for the club, it is a credit to have him here and putting the performances in. Played a good captain today too as i spotted him a few times going to players and offering advice and support. Credit. Only bad thing to say about him is I think he could be more forward with his passes sometimes.

Milsom - 7 - He could fill the hole quite well. Played well and received the ball well with a good first touch. Needs to be quicker though and be more decisive with his actions and passes. More commitment needed from him. But happy to have him back and played convincingly today.

Alessandra - 5 - Missing really and didn't notice anything from him today. Hope he gets more of a chance but think Thomas would've been better suited today to exploit FGR's weaknesses.

Dennis - 2 - Missing and drifted into play CM a few times. Never really did much running and such a shame that he picked up a knock. Him and Hemmings seem to struggle to understand each others game.

Hemmings - 7 - Effort was there and I think he really cares but just isn't getting the service required to be able to do his job effectively. Hope he can become the main striker in the team and become a real leader of men. Think he will thrive under Kewell.

    Subs:

Stead - 7 - Good goal and is turning in to a really good impact sub. Got a lot of time for Stead and hope he isn't written off by Kewell because of his age.

Kellett - 7 - Good effort and carried the ball forward well. Should start next game for me as he offers so much more than the likes of Husin and Jones.

Husin - 3 - Diabolic deliveries and when confidence was building he killed it off with his inability to put in a good delivery. Think he had 3 corners and 1 free kick all of which was useless. Bench player at best.

  5. After watching this video it highlights some issues that were hard to tell from a far.

    - Fitz is woeful and is at fault for both the 2nd and 3rd goal.

    - Defending for the 1st and 3rd is questionable regarding positioning.

    - Dan Jones Red Card was deserved.

That 2nd and 3rd goal is so bad I can't describe them. Totally 10000000% Fitz's fault. He should be blamed for the loss of this game.

  6. So my question is simple any possitives from today’s game against forest Green Rovers.?

Which member would choose and what username would you change their's too?

  8. The Games of Remembrance, which first took place in 2014, see troops from the British Army Football Association take on the German Bundeswehr (Armed Forces) to commemorate soldiers from both sides who made the ultimate sacrifice during the First World War.

      Duffy's pose. 😂

Arrogance and nervousness rolled into one that. Plus despite his foot being the closest to the ball, he wouldn't be able to take it off that man dressed as a soldier.

It would be nice for fans of both teams to pay their respects by attending the game, it sounds interesting.

  9. Hello, my name is John.

I have not long joined the Pride of Nottingham website, I thought I would give it ago since Facebook is full of moaning fans. As you will have noticed I am County Til I Die and I have supported Notts for over 40+ years.

  10. So today was the last straw Fitzsimmons is not our number one. At fault again for two of the goals that we conceived due to the fact he was either off his line and had to scramble back or his positioning is awful. In most of the attacks no only in this game but others by various teams he favoured his left post leaving the right hand of his goal completely exsposed. This is not what a number one dose they are stern and steady and control there defenders and area Fitzsimmons dose neither. The defence has not helped but I’m sorry he has to shoulder the blame for the poor goal line and positioning.

  11. After rumours of up to 5 signings today, the clock is ticking down to 5pm a bit quick BigAl !!!!!

    Crack on!

  12. So looking at the table just now we are bottom but a win on Saturday against forest Green but a win on Saturday could lift us i know the goal ratio won’t help and we haven’t scored at home this season but I think all of that would actually drive the team to actually perform and play like we can.?

  13. So ... after listening to Kevin Nolan's interview on BBC Nottingham after his sacking it has infuriated me to the fullest. Alan Hardy has completely let him down hugely. Nolan hinted that he wanted to keep players from last year but due to budget we were not able to. So explain to me why we can sign Enzio Boldewjin for a reported 300,000 then. Same with Hemmings and Dennis. I am worried that our club is turning into a sinking ship with this complete buffoon at the helm of it. I have lost all respect for Alan Hardy and un followed him on twitter. He left Kevin in the dark and gave him promises that were never delivered. Feel so sorry for Kevin Nolan and if this next manager appointment is shocking then I will be considering giving my season ticket back in. So angry.

Let us know your thoughts down below.

  14. Now we’ve lost a board member. Obviously didn’t agree with the sacking

  15. According to Charlie Slater the board have drawn up a short list of candidates and are interviewing this afternoon but have got to talk to clubs to get permission to speak to them, that suggests all or some are in work.

    Not Charlie McParland then 😥

He also said that he expected the new man to be in place for Saturdays game and Darren Flaetcher is still on the board and working normally contrary to twitter rumours.

He's a manager that can transform the club if we allow him.

Give him time, he deserved it last season and if things fail - for me it will be the players more than Kevin Nolan's fault. If he continues to play someone, surely they should step up and thank the managers faith in their ability? A good manager may not risk separating the players if he can get a response and I think KN hopes for this happen.

He does look to be hurting but blaming the strikers only seems deluded because the pressure if only from the back.

It's them failing us! We could have Ronaldo and Messi and they'd make little difference if Richard Duffy decides to pass straight to the opposition as if he's @NcfcT4. ;)

sad to think this was his last interview and he barely made sense, i think he probably knew.

Who would have known this would be Kevin Nolan's last match, I have to add Notts looked like they was always the second best team and it must have been frustrating to watch them be so far out classed.

  17. Morning all, a big day for the club. There may be one or two of you that listen to Not The Top 20 Podcast... for those who don't, we cover all three EFL leagues, focusing on providing the type of analysis that the mainstream media doesn't.

I hope you don't mind me sharing a discussion on Monday about Nolan's dismissal and Kewell's potential hire (as well as Ardley who was linked at the time). Apologies if podcasts aren't for you, but I thought there may be some people who'd be interested to hear some thoughts on Kewell especially.

Head to 33 minutes here to hear the discussion: https://soundcloud.com/ntt20pod/80-managerial-departures-and-leagues-taking-shape

  18. Following on from one Director resigning another Darren Fletcher has removed all mention of Notts County from his twitter bio. I don’t like the look of this at all. Tell me I’m being paranoid please. :panic:

  19. As the transfer window opened last Thursday, I'd thought I'd start a regular feature over the coming months posting about the transfer activity in League 2 and everyone's buys.

  20. We're interested apparently, he's a centre back from Preston with one international cap for Ireland, but he's only 5'10". (Maybe he's got some leap on him?)

I wonder if it was someone KN was looking to bring in? It would be strange to sign someone without the new manager being in place.

  21. So my question is simple what do you think Chettle will change on Saturday either formation or players.?
