  • I'm delighted with the improvement and with the point. At one point in the first half Lincoln really seemed to be losing their discipline and I fancied our chances of scoring a second, but it wasn't to be. I was impressed with every one of the new signings, the grit and work ethic of Rose, O'Brien, Doyle and CMS is what we've been missing all season. Why didn't we sign players like this in the summer? What were we playing at?

However, that's another game gone without a win. We need to start winning now, regardless of who the opposition is. The sooner we get our next three points the better.

Good result even at a point, the next fixture should be interesting.

Yes Notts could have won but you have to respect a point, especially when it comes from playing the leagues leaders.

We have completed the loan signing of @Boro's Under 23s captain, central defender Sam Stubbs! ✍️ Sam, an uncompromising defender, will be with us until the end of the season.

Who was your Man of the Match for Notts County's League Two home game against Lincoln City?

There's a rumour going round the mill that suggests Notts are looking to sign two players, one of which has reportedly been unattached for some time but has previously played under Neal Ardley at AFC Wimbledon.

Has anyone on PON heard anything?

I’ve heard a rumour that Kane Hemmings is out for the season with Achilles Tendon injury.Β

Has Anyone else heard anything on this.?

Saturday's Fixtures:
Milwall v Rotherham United
West Bromwih Albion v Middlesbrough
Burton Albion v Oxford United
Portsmouth v Doncaster Rovers
Cheltenham Town v Cambridge United
Port Vale v Tranmere Rovers

Mine:
Millwall 2-0 Rotherham (Joker)
West Brom 1-0 Middlesbrough
Burton Albion 2-1 Oxford Utd
Pompey 2-1 Doncaster
Cheltenham Town 1-1 Cambridge United
Port Vale 0-0 Tranmere

I’ve been very critical of him from the beginning. I still stand by all the things I’ve said and written. However, there comes a moment when it’s time to stop kicking a man when he’s down. For me that time is now.

if notts goes down will you still attend games?

i will renew my season ticket regardless, i am in this for the long haul now but i just wonder what attendances might be like if the worst happens. i dont really want to think about it, notts have been awful this season but i am curious to see if non league would change anything for people. no judgement, just speak from your heart.

So in conclusion our recruitment project at Notts County is a joke and anyone who has say in these outgoings needs to be sacked with immediate notice and to take a long hard look at what they've actually achieved here at Notts County.

Β

Stead has made little impact on games recently and I think it was the wrong decision to bench Dennis at the weekend. Stead doesn't score 15/20 goals a season consistently whereas Dennis does. Dennis should start for me but it raises the question of who partners him.Β

Well in my opinion with Stead not doing a great deal, I think it's a prime opportunity for someone like Etete or Campbell to start. It would never happen as I don' think Ardley trusts either of them but from what I've seen Etete is quick and nimble and an Aerial threat. Campbell is a bully on the field as we saw in pre-season. Campbell is also very very quick possibly quicker than Boldewijn. Pace and Strength scares defenders at this level and I can't help but think these minutes Stead is eating up is where one of the youngsters can be coming through and trying to make their impact on a game.

Etete has been restricted to appearances off the bench often coming late on around the 80 minutes mark. Always coming on from losing postions, with the current mentality of the squad it's pretty much pointless of bringing him on when we're already losing.

I think it's time to drop Stead and give one of these young hungry Strikers to try and make a name for themselves in the game.Β Β

Sums up our season.

There will be plenty of people urging Hardy to "put his hand into his pocket"...but with a club losing approx Β£30k a week , we mayΒ be in a serious financial hole if relegation occurs. Players will want out now as they dont want a relegation out of the EFL on their cv's. Maybe Turley and Ward will get released now, on purely cost saving grounds

Rumours of Stead interesting bradford, Hewitt likewise for Salford, and Hemmings mentioned today. Players will go.... but there will be a unjustfied backlash of "Club not being ambitious"...but our ambition has come with a real financial reality

Feeling down as my beloved Notts are in deed heading downwards..... can we attract any quality to save this club?

Β

So with no football thisΒ Saturday the magpies get the weekend of with that what’s everyone plans.?
