So hopefully by the time that we play our first league match of December Neal Ardley would have been in charge of his first game so he should hopefully getting to grips with the squad.

He dose have a lot to do a mountain to climb some say but I’m hoping he can achieve a few points in December.

So my question is how many points do you think Notts can earn during December.?

Saturday 8th -Away Mansfield

Saturday 15th - Home Tranmere

Saturday 22nd - Away Grimsby

Wednesday 26th - Home Macclesfield

Saturday 29th - Home Bury

So via Notts county official website Notts have announced that Enzo Baldewijn will be our of action for up to three months with a knee Injury after taken off against Morcombe.

Thoughts guys and girls.

Im sure we all wish him well and a speedy recovery.

So we have at some point all played a board game weather be monopoly, guess who or the classic cludo.

But Which one is your favourite?

I've seen: Ian McParland, Paul Ince, Martin Allen, Keith Curle, Chris Kiwomya, Shaun Derry, Ricardo Moniz, Jamie Fullarton, Mark Cooper, John Sheridan, Kevin Nolan, Harry Kewell

Caretakers: Steve Hodge, Paul Hart, Mick Halsall & Richard Dryden, Alan Smith, Mark Crossley and Steve Chettle

What do you guys thinks the score will be from tonight checkatrade game at the stadium of light.?

I would just like to share my experience with one of PON's sponsors and encourage anyone that needs laptop or desktop repairs to visit Kev. He also sells refurbished computers and laptops which are a very good price for the quality of product.

I was looking to buy a laptop and found one through his social media page for a very respectable price at 100 pounds. It is a HP laptop with Windows 10, I5 processor and 4GB of RAM I believe. Not only am I very happy with the product but also extremely happy with the service. I messaged him on Thursday and by Saturday I had it in my possession. A very quick and fair purchase. I had never visited Kev before but will be visiting again for any repairs or refurbished products again. I would 100% recommend for any PON users that are having issues or want to buy a decent laptop for a cheap price. Very quick service and can get problems rectified pretty sharpish.

Thanks Everyone!

Out of players from both squads pick your combined 11 between the two sides and see who can come up with the strongest squad.

4-3-3

Logan / Tootle - Pearce - Turley - Evina / Bishop - Vaughan - Mellis / Walker - Hemmings - Boldewjin

Whats yours?

So with Notts county not being in action now until Tuesday how wil you be spending this rare Saturday during the season with no game.?

what are the first things in your opinion that neal ardley and neil coxs have to do once they take over properly? what would you list as important to getting the results needed on the pitch.

i think quickly understanding what depth the squad has and how best to use it within their tactics would help.

its not something that can be done easily but harry kewell did not seem to know even after his sacking, so i think a basic understanding would help them because i know they will learn more as they settle into the roles. i think knowing how to improve the squad would be a benefit, if this means getting the best out of players such as elliott hewitt and richard duffy then it can only be a positive.

what about you?

Guys can you help me welcome @Anita Kerry to Pon please. Welcome to Pon @Anita Kerry hope you have a great time with us.

Who was your Man of the Match for Notts County's League Two home game against Carlisle United?

This made me larf.

english poem.jpg

if you could interview any Notts player past or present who would it be.?

So who do you guys and girls think that Neal Ardely will name in his first 11 against Mansfield on the 8th December.?

Tuesday Night's Fixtures:
Brentford v Sheffield United
Rotherham United v Queens Park Rangers
Bristol Rovers v Gillingham
Sunderland v Barnsley
Grimsby Town v Tranmere Rovers
Yeovil Town v Port Vale

Brentford 1-2 Sheffield United
Rotherham United 1-1 QPR
Bristol Rovers 1-0 Gillingham
Sunderland 2-2 Barnsley
Grimsby Town 0-1 Tranmere Rovers
Yeovil Town 1-1 Port Vale (Joker)

So county sit in 22nd place after getting a point out of there tie against Oldham last night.

So the point last night means if Cheltenham win there game in hand we are level on points but we will be back in the relegation zone on goal difference.

A win last night would have meant that no matter the Cheltenham result we would have avoided the relegation zone for the time being at least.

So my question is can we climb the table and avoid a relagation battle or is it the great escape again.?

Thoughts guys and girls

So Neal Ardley has officially taken over as our new gaffer from today.

He has officially done his first press conference with owner and chairman Alan Hardy.

He has walked in to meadow lane with Notts second from bottom and a few injuries the latest Enzo Baldewijn who is looking at three months on the sideline.

He will have a week with the squad before the next game as we are not in action at the weekend and will face sunderland in the checkatrade trophy at the stadium of light next Tuesday.

Lets hope he can help turn out fortunes around .. what’s your thoughts guys and girls on Neals Ardley appointment and press conference.

Ive included a link to the press conference below..

so the one million pound transfer seems so along now but in comparison to current transfer fees that’s a Small with Neymar costing over a hundred million would you say that transfer fees have got out of hand.?

its depressing, i hate to think about it but i do wonder how others feel.

how likely do you feel notts could go down?

So Alan Hardy said on the radio today that we have 38 professionals on the books. I counted 34 earlier

GK - Fitzsimons, Pindroch, Culverwell

RB - Tootle, Ox

CB - Ward, Turley, Bird, Hall, Davies, Duffy, Brisley

LB - Jones, Evina, Dunn, Kennedy-Williams

CM - Vaughan, Hewitt, Milsom, Husin, Patching, Crawford, Howes

W - Boldewijn, Thomas, Kellett, Osborne, Alessandra, Hawkridge

ST - Stead, Dennis, Hemmings, Etete, Campbell

Who would you get rid of as it seems we have far too many players at the moment?

He officially takes charge today

Hopefully it's a turning point

Does he stay on under the new regime or not?

Too interested in himself to run the club properly. Has let the players force Kewell out, but didn’t have a plan B when he sacked him.

First half Notts defended with 9 players plus the keeper.

We couldn't string a pass really and Steve Chettle had the defensive line far too deep. Defensively Notts got lucky, as Carlisle United moved the ball nicely and created some good chances which they're guilty of being very wasteful of. I felt they look very confident until they struck the ball but a lot of praise for me should be given to Jamie Turley who battled and tried to win everything.

In the second half Notts always do better when they attack the Kop.

Chettle claims he changed things but this isn't true, we started off exactly the same as we ended the first half but grew in confidence as the game progressed, When Notts started knocking on the door, we looked bright and lively. After Nathan Thomas missed a sitter (decent save by Adam Collin) - I felt Notts look very likely to score. Instead of committing a few players forward, we actually had attacking players and we look good for a spell.

This was until we scored, then we parked the bus back. Isolated Kristian Dennis and never properly pushed for a second.

Notts grew quite tired of chasing everything, as the main players doing a lot of running - i.e Dennis, Hewitt, Jones seemed knackered and this gave Carlisle a sense that they could get something. Honestly after they scored, I feel they should have won the game because they played some restless stuff.

Chettle IS NOT a talented manager, I feel sorry for him but he's utterly clueless and anyone who says otherwise wouldn't have seen what the 4k attending yesterday did.

The way you describe the match tallies with the conclusion I came to while listening to the radio almost exactly.

I can't be the only Notts fan that pondered how the hell Carlisle wasn't winning by 2 or more goals before half time? I am surprised Notts even scored by how they played, a good brief spell where they looked confident and good on the ball. Yet it was only short lived, I never thought Notts would have found the net.

A draw seems lucky to me.
