Posted August 20, 2024Aug 20 #1 Congratulations Jodi. Macca, Dan & Jodi in the League 2 team of the year chosen by the players.
August 20, 2024Aug 20 #2 Size of that trophy, it’s going to need a cabinet of its own, that’s not fitting on a shelf. Pleased to see Crowley in there, almost got forgotten because of Langstaff and Jodi’s performances and numbers last season but players know a player when they come up against one. Something slightly off in seeing 3 of our players who finished mid-table in that team that’s made up of players from promoted teams and a play-off final team though!

I think Jodi is worth as much as Macca, £700K, & could easily ply his trade in the Championship. Dan is worth at least £500K. But I'd rather keep them, they are worth twice as much as those prices for Notts if they help to get us promoted.
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #7 Interesting discussion on the Magpie Circle on this topic. I felt that Paul and Stal were both pretty confident they would both be here until at least the January window. Then I guess it would depend on how likely promotion was going to be as to if they resigned .
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #8 I am pleased for Jodi Jones; it’s well deserved. He’s been a massive asset to Notts, and I hope we hear news of his contract being renewed at some stage. He’s a great player at this level!
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #9 its great to have someone like jodi jones in our team and he does deserve this, i think its incredible that he has come back so strongly from his injuries. hes a player our younger fans can look upto, and with players like him at the club it will also attract supporters. i am glad he won the award.
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #11 Great player! We need to get him more involved in both halves because when he’s in that mode, I think he can be unstoppable. I’m pleased to see him win this.
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #12 It's hard not to feel pleased for Jodi, he's been such a massive part of the club since arriving. At this level, his quality is just a game changer and even when he might not be at his best. His presence can help to make things sway in our favour, right now I think we can say we are lucky to still have him here at Notts. A player of his quality, could always be poached by a team higher up, and I think it's important to not only acknowledge this but get him settled.
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #13 I think this is why Macca was at Notts last Sunday. He probably went with Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley. I am thrilled and delighted for them both. Jodi always looks too serious! Things you love to see! ????
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #14 Yes, Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley! I’m so pleased for them, representing Notts despite last season’s outcome. The fact that these two, along with Macaulay Langstaff, got named shows it wasn’t all that bad of a return to the English Football League.
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #15 Jodi Jones is a beast when he gets his confidence going forward, in the first half against Fleetwood he seemed more annoyed and irritated. When his heads are in the game, he can be truly unstoppable going forward, and we are extremely lucky to have him at Notts. I think every fan in League Two will see Jodi as a quality player. I know Elliott who recently did the "Opposition View" with me had glowing words for him. I am pleased for Dan Crowley as well.
August 21, 2024Aug 21 #16 I'm unsure why Notts themselves didn't recognise Dan Crowley on social media. Jodi Jones received the spotlight, which is disappointing as they both deserved their awards.
August 22, 2024Aug 22 #17 It’s good to see Jodi Jones being awarded. The trophy is huge! It’s also good to see Dan Crowley and Macaulay Langstaff gain further awards while representing Notts.
August 22, 2024Aug 22 #18 Jodi has shared pictures on his X account. It’s nice to see him enjoying that moment, and it shows how well he fits into the Notts side. I am sure he would do well at a higher level, but I hope he sees the club as his home now. Ideally, we would grow together. Pleased for Jodi Jones.
August 22, 2024Aug 22 #19 Jodi is an incredible player, and it’s great to see him not only smashing the league records but earning awards. He works hard and has proven himself to be a great coup for Notts.
August 26, 2024Aug 26 #21 Jodi Jones definitely deserved this award. If he continues to impress for us this season, we might see him win it again. Surely this would be a record for a Notts player?
August 30, 2024Aug 30 #22 Jodi Jones is an incredible talent. I'm sure he still has ambitions of playing at a higher level, but I hope he can achieve that with Notts. His current form looks good enough to give him a chance of being considered for this again.
