the return of Russell King

I hope they lock him up and throw away the key.

He will get a way with it, he's been doing it for years but I am surprised he's not been knocked off by some of the powerful people he's scammed.

I met Russell King numerous times when he visited where I used to work, he put on glamours pretences which included pretending to be a member of royalty. He seemed to use this to allure Peter Trembling and Sven Goran Eriksson - he came across as a very nasty person in my opinion/experience.

I've always wondered if his golden cane was real or fake.

Hopefully he gets what's coming to him, he's annoyed and stolen money from several high profile people. One day this will come back to bite him, yet I do feel he will escape being jailed by the UK.

fat bogger needs locking up for a long time but without him targetting notts we would have still be stock as a struggling team in l2.

Mr King, who had not yet been given legal assistance and was described as potentially “disoriented” after arriving on-island just hours before, did not oppose the application.

He told the Court: “There is no question I do need medical assistance. I can’t walk and I literally need assistance to stand up or even put my shoes on… I have no problem with respecting what this court decides to do.”

How did he manage to pull off all the scams? Now he's been caught he's using illness to try and be excused.

Pathetic.

The evidence must be strong as presumably it has taken years to extradite him. Given the enormity of the alleged financial frauds, a custodial sentence must be seen as a benchmark. Perhaps, North Korea will ask for his extradition too:frantics:

Lets all hope he spends a long time in jail but he may get off on health grounds, its not uncommon.

@Piethagoram Can we please just take a novelty sized cheque to his next nearest court date and slap the fat......... b..a....tt..rr...d with it?

That would be quite funny.

I do hope he gets what he deserves in court as hes clearly not learnt his lesson at claming to be someone hes not.

Will the UK police be asking for his extradition, when his prison sentence is completed?

He has been sentenced for his crimes right? The scammer looks to be getting away with it which is totally wrong. Just a waste to go through this process without executing the fullest punishment available.
