Trialist keeper Ex Lincoln player Richard Walton

I noticed that @Natty has unearthed on Facebook who the trailist keeper was in yesterday's game against Basford, It's Richard Walton and he looked alright.

He's only 20 and sounds more vocal than Pindroch does.

I thought he looked more experienced than a player in his 20's, so hopefully we take him on as the backup keeper. Give him some time against Derby and see. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/richard-walton/profil/spieler/407332

Take him on if anything it adds to the cover, I see no point in handing out trials if the players no need good enough in the first place.

i thought he looked a lot better than pindroch as he warmed up, even tho he was only running around.Β ????Β i think the basford keeper did better than our current backup would have done, so i would like to see one signed.

i dont fault richard for the poor goal notts conceded, the defence was woeful.

If he has signed for another club, I am sure Kevin Nolan can find someone else to bring in. I would be disappointed if this keeper did go, then the club didn't bother looking else where.

Three keepers is more than useful to have.

Always good to have at least 3 keepers. Don't want to get into the situation we had last JanuaryΒ

Yeah, the club needs cover for injuries, suspensions and poor form.

I think Notts are piling too much pressure and expectations on Fitzsimons TBH.

I'm wondering if he was training with us just to keep his fitness up? I think @SamiΒ mentioned on Twitter Kevn Nolan said we wouldn't sign another keeper, personally I hope we do.

As @ARLukomskiΒ said u can’t go wrong with 3 keepers in case we have another January like last season so @Chris I agree one moreΒ
