Has he learned how to set-up a team to defend and attack then? Impressive win over Feyenoord.

Ricardo Moniz always looked like a man who knew what he wanted, some of the best attacking football from Notts in recent years was played under him. Defensively his tactics tends to let him down but this is a smashing win.

I enjoyed watching Notts play under Moniz and I still maintain that given time he’d have done well at Notts, another wasted opportunity.

We had many a debate on this one at the time!

As a manager, he was exciting and played great attacking football.

The structure of the club at the time meant it was doomed to failure.

If he was appointed under the current regime, would things turn out differently? I’d say yes. A good manager is only as good as the team he is working with. On the field and, in Notts case, off it too.

Ricardo Moniz is a good coach and a decent manager.

His issue is when the ideas he has doesn't work, he starts being all random but I also thought he would have done well at Notts. He's the type of manager that focuses on the right thing and with us he never had a chance, his other clubs his record is a little misleading but this victory is impressive.

They play in the top flight in Slovakia, won the title in 2015 and 2016 (yes, I looked it up!).

It was all about the league as well. If we had been league one or above in the situation we were in, might have worked. In league two it was great attacking, but we were often out muscled by tactically inferior teams who like hoof ball.

Were we harsh at the time? Probably. Would he do well now? Yes. Was his replacement a good move? Christ, Fullerton was the worst move ever and I’ve seen a few silly ones over the years! Jocky Scott and Larry Lloyd anyone!!!

that is even more impressive because surely they are considered the underdogs?

It would be nice to see Richardo Moniz do well and find himself settled with one club.

Astonishing win! Quality win over a fairly big Dutch side.

Fairly big but not even fairly good though. Glad for Ricardo that he has got a decent win but Feyenoord are a shadow of their former selves right now
