I was here at this game but watching this right now makes me feel sad, look how much the fans got behind the players and how mental everyone went in the KOP when we scored. As @ARLukomski keeps pointing out ... Hard work is all we ask for and look what it can pay off sometimes just like it did here with a replay at Eastlands.

Last season we fought, played hard, battled and had a lot of togetherness. I've not seen it this season, part of me wondered if people are being petty over wages but everything started to crumble last season when Hardy mentioned debts.

The Bristol Rovers game of last season is a prime example of how much hard work should go into a performance.

That was a brilliant comeback and performance

We don't have the togetherness  this year but hopefully a new manager can bring that to the club.

This is what happens when you gut a team and start from scratch to much has been changed at once and they are not clinking with each other .. the trouble starts in January if we are in relegation place

I echo sentiments shared by @Magic magpie.

The team was rushed, they have little understanding at the moment of how to play but this can come with time. I just hope we can pull clear of the drop zone and stay away from there!

Exactly it takes time to gel say 3 or 4 in to a squad but 10/11 is to far for me I can see why Allan would want to do this because giving previous 1 year contracts wasn’t perfect for financial fair play but it’s a big ask though

I could only hope Notts could defend how they did on this day, I felt Notts started sluggish but soon stepped it up.

1 year contracts don't work when the players perform or do well, it means we have six months to sign them up to a longer deal.

The issue is with the management and recruitment.

Exactly why Allan has gone down this route mate .. but this many at once is not good and it’s lead to a turbelant season so far

A cup run like this could have been a massive boost, I know the leagues important but nothing makes you believe more than beating a good league club.

This makes it more upsetting because you can sum up a poor season from a Notts perspective by how easily they are knocked out of the cups.

This is said year after year, season after season and the performances are poor suddenly people expect the players to show more passion for doing poorly in the first place. I hope the manager can spark a positive reactions from the lazy sods.

A few signs of togetherness on the pitch could go along way, I just fear that the players are blaming each other and that's never a good thing.

The players this year don't seem to have the momentum to carry on through bad results, which in this league is really needed.

Don’t want to harp back on things but the writing was on the wall pre season. Many people slated me, saying that pre season means nothing. I beg to differ, if that was the case why does the quote “he had a great pre season” have any relevance.
