Hopefully, the new owners can cover any loses.

They at least know that our fans are loyal enough to fight for the club and give them what we can afford.

This is terrible, I feel sorry for the Barnet staff that might be forced to face hardship over this. :(

Some tend to remain and work on part time basis for free until it's resolved, not a lot of jobs going in football.

another nail in the coffin for smaller clubs, its a shame but they need to do what they must to survive.

Very bad news, and they'll be the first of many. You can't simply lose all your income without there being serious consequences, and if the season is cancelled it'll be even worse. We can thank our lucky stars we've got new owners who'll be willing to make up losses.

It is bad news, I think a lot of lower professional clubs will struggle.

Some are calling Barnet for having done it so soon, however, I understand and at least they didn't hang around. Provided the staff get some form of support from the gov then its not as bad.

It's very bad news, however, unfortunately this is going to shake things up for the worst.

I can see only further clubs having to make changes like this.

Some of which most likely won't be as up front and will have made staff sign agreements not to talk about it, like what we would have seen here not so long ago. It doesn't make it right, but we have to expect that football will be shaken up.

It’s happening outside of fun football, some clubs should have money kept aside but others won’t. It’s going to be a gruelling time for some fans.

It's awful, but clubs needs to start living within their means. Barnet would be in trouble without this issue, it's made it sooner.

Not good news, such a shame. I can see this being an issue for other clubs at the moment too unfortunetly.
