I was on my run down the canal this morning listening to music on my iPod, PoN was the last thing on my mind until a podcast came on with some bloke called Notts Joe (remember him @Chris?) started waffling on about the forthcoming game against Bradford City, so beware fellow forum members you never know when PoN will invade your life.

So Alan Hardy has confirmed that 30th June the new first team and away kit will be lauched. With teasers on the Friday.

Alan Hardy has said that after the defeat to Coventry in the play off second leg and the abysmal refereeing standards last season he would welcome VAR at Meadow Lane also stating it wouldn’t cost much and it would be easy to do even offering to pay for it himself. Also while at a efl conference earlier this month he brought up the standards of refs and was given the response of we all know stead goes down easy. He also said it would cost each team £85 thousand pounds each to up the standard of refereeing next season and that it would be addressed. Based on last seasons obvious errors is Alan Hardy right in what he says.? Would you welcome the change .?

First time poster, long time reader here - a Magpie based out of Singapore.
Tomorrow's FA Cup match versus the Swans will give me the chance to watch the boys live on TV over here.
I am wondering: Are there any other "exiled Magpies" out here in Southeast Asia? It may be a long shot, but case there are any over here... get in touch and let's cheer on the lads over a few chilled Tiger beers.
Come on, Magpies!

So carrying on with legends theme today I thought about two more people who makes County or who gave there careers to Notts and the first name was Colin slater mbe. Born in Bradford in 1934 he was the voice of Notts since 1968. He joined Notts in 1959 behind the scenes writing match reports. Then 2001 he was given the mbe honour for not only services to radio but to football as a whole, then in 2015 Nottingham honoured him by name of a team after him. In his time he covered over 2000 Notts games a milestone that on 17th November 2007 against Mansfield of all teams. Breaking this milestone he had became the voice of Notts and known affectionately as uncle colin. But all good things must come to a end it was on the 24th April 2017 that Colin announced he was to step down from his commentary duties at the end of the season but would remain County’s corespondent. Colin would then be name a honoury life member of Notts County on the 15th November 2017. Uncle Colin still remains a Notts fan and is always welcomed back at Meadow Lane like the prodigal son. Below is an interview with Colin Slater if you would like to have a read.
Do/what are you have memories of Uncle Colin during his time with Notts.?

I thought some members would find this interesting, it explains how the VAR system works and provides more background information that most places haven't mentioned.
Thoughts? How can it be improved?

So today Alan Hardy said he had a great pre season planning breakfast. Don’t know about you guys but would love to know what he has planned.

So every team has a badge, a logo, a crest call it what you will but what does that image mean to you as a person when you look at it ?What do you see /feel. ?
-
So we all have a screen name but what made you decide on that name.?
-
All the small underdog type teams seem to be doing well in the World Cup, it doesn’t bode well for tomorrow’s match against Tunisia, remember Iceland anyone?

Do you watch YouTube?
I spend at least two hours per day listening/watching YouTube videos. The past couple of days I've been watching stupid videos about skaters being confronted by people - half the videos I suspect are caused by their nuisance behaviour, yet the videos tend to be cleverly edited to make them see totally incident. I actually find the majority to be quite sad, yet it's addictive to see how people respond.
Before that, I was watching top 5 or 10 videos. Either Wrestling or creepy related.
When I'm doing various site related things, I tend to be upstairs and I can get quite bored listening to the radio - so that's where YouTube comes in.
What are your favourite channels?
Epic Rap Battle of History
Key of Awesome
Are no doubt two of my favourite channels, of course I'm not forgetting PrideofNottinghamTV. -
