What do you do out of season?

Its almost the end of this season, its looks like we may have another nervous last game to decide our fate. My question is what do you do out of season?

I tend to take up other activities, fishing is one I enjoy for example. Its also the only time I go on holidays, I will not do it within the football season. Though I mainly relax and spend the time I have free with my family.

It's GAA season in Ireland so that keeps me going. Women's WC in June as well. Other that that, not much at all.

For me the cricket season runs from January 1st to October, coaching and watching and then there's RL Feb to Nov, what's an off season!

I plan for the following season, which has somewhat derailed towards the end of this current one but I think considering, the majority will see that it's just a time thing and not remotely to do with not giving 100%. I also spend more time with my family, which I am looking forward too.

Hopefully @super_ram and @GrannyPie will come out a bit if the weather is nice.

I like cricket especially twenty20. I spend as much time with my family as possible, work permitting. Holidays and days out when I can. Always glad when the fixtures are out and can start planning potential away trips .

Well @notts-joe and one or two others will know my answer. I have a small motorhome (camper van) and we spend as much of the summer as possible travelling in this country and on the continent and if I'm feeling flush I might even go on a cruise I love going on holiday.

^^ The above happens throughout the football season, believe me I have proof. ;)

I wonder what @super_ram would say, Minecraft and Terraria would be included I suspect.

For me its just like now but with little notts news, only real difference is the fact we don't play. I don't follow american sports much or follow them.

Normally not a lot really, just wait for any news on Notts and follow who moves where etc, this off season will be massively different as I will be occupied every weekend from the 9th of May until the end of September.

I will end up watching more TV after I finish work, not a lot really or socializing in the local.

I get myself down to some of the cricket clubs nearby to where I live, I do not follow or support any but I do enjoy the sport.

Does anyone else do this?

Its when I tend to travel, I do not like missing games in season and so I tend to pack up when the football is over. It means if I want to make the most of warm weather, I have to look further a way from the UK but I do own a caravan in Skegness and another near Blackpool which I sometimes use.

Skegvegas... we mentioned this on another thread somewhere

I ride my bike, go to medieval festivals, spend happy evenings in beer gardens and generally live a happy, contented life as a normal human being.

Until August comes ...
