Notts County vs Doncaster Rovers

Alrighty, another sixpointer and for once it literally is if we can beat Doncaster and Gillingham.

I hate saying it, as every games been labelled this but these two games really are and to be openly honest I am not confident about either. You all know how much I love Notts, unless your fairly new and there's no change in my level of support but I have accepted relegation, as many other fans have.

Doncaster are very unpredictable, decent side on paper but they struggle with consistency.

On a good day, I can see Notts actually winning and I hope we can but I don't see it happening. I would have this labelled as a draw personally but I honestly think they will sink us and for that reason I won't predict the same. I will say, I think it will be almost like Preston but without the positive.

Survival is pinned to the hopes that we can win both, it's not exactly unrealistic but hard to see.

I hope I'm wrong!

What about you? Thoughts on our opposition? Score predictions?

Donny have two points out of a possible 12 and are already on their holidays, that's what gives me hope. I recall saying the same thing before the Barnsley game though. If two of Crawley, Crewe and Orient win, it'll be good night from us if we lose.

If we can't beat a Doncaster side that has already packed up for the season, then we deserve to go down. The only outcome I see is home win. 1-0. Spencer.

I hope we avoid playing transparent football, its our predictability which makes us struggle and then there's little idea how to get out of it.

The magpies will do well, I am sure we will but that differs from actually winning the game.

I am not sure we have enough to beat Doncaster, they are a decent side and I think our home form would easily favour them. If we can start like we did against Barnsley and for the brief spell against Preston perhaps we can score. Its debatable wheather or not we will lead at any point!

Fans are expecting Tyson to sink us.

We will nail it on Saturday! The drop must be decided on the last game, its bound to happen.

Bajner, G Thompson or Spencer to score.

I think Doncaster will be easier than Gillingham if we take the chances we create.

My instructions would be to overload their penalty box and just pressure them, if they leave themselves open at the back I think it could come back to haunt us but overall I think we have enough to win 2-1.

Spencer and Jones to score for me.

i hope @Dripsey3 is right about us winning 1-0.

this seasons been very emotional and its gone by so quickly, i wished we could have paused it when we was actually inside the play offs but it shows how quickly things change.

if we can keep getting the ball forward and actually defend well, i dont see why we cannot beat them.

It's all or nothing really.

And I thinks it's going to be all.

I'm slightly positive, after the last couple a games. Spencer has now opened his account so I see him firing us to safety. No pressure Jimmy, but you would be put into the legends categories for NCFC :)

Just get the win to prolong this #believe message, otherwise we will all land with egg on our faces.

1-0 will do.

I agree with @Canadian

It is all or nothing now. I don't even think 3 points is enough so we must get 3 tomorrow and at least 1 against the Gills.

I also agree that Jimmy might score again

Absolutely bricking it for tomorrow. It's a minor miracle in itself that we're not already down to be honest. We could still do it, these are two very winnable games we have to come, but I just feel that we've blown it by not at Yeovil or Crawley when the chips were down. Mind you, I have been wrong in the past!

I just hope we win and take it to the last day again at least. It's the final game of Weymouth's season tomorrow (outside chance of the play-offs but not getting my hopes up), and I really don't want to be the one person not in the party spirit on the way home if Notts are relegated.

If we lose, Crewe win at Coventry and Crawley get a point at Peterborough - we're down. Or if we draw and they both manage to win.

If we draw, can we still survive? I mean mathematically, I assume not.

not posted in ages peeps, not much to shout about really. if we cant beat on holiday donny then league 2 is right level for us. imo we got wrong man in for a relegation fight. time will tell. coyp #believe

I'll be a bag of nerves at this game, not sure the old ticker can cope with a nail biting finish to the season, wouldn't it be nice if we could win handsomely and not be troubled by the opposition. That's probably not going to happen though.

No predictions from me but my one hope is that if we are going down we go down fighting, that's all I ask.

Very nervous about today but I think we will finally win a game. Just need to get behind the team from the start. Get the ball forward quickly and stop messing about at the back with sideways, backwards footy!! I don't even care if we go route one as long as we bombard the penalty area. I'll be ecstatic if we win and the results go our way because we then have a realistic chance of staying up at Gillingham. I'll sit on the fence as to whether we'll survive the drop ... :)

There will be a fallout if we don't see a good performance, which is something I am mindful when I see things being over hyped. Don't get me wrong encouraging support is vital, however the whole believe, why can't we just support? I for one don't believe we will survive and my mind can't be swayed on that. My head tells me 'defeat' and my heart, 'narrow 1-0 win'.

Either way I will sing, chant and get behind the squad. Lets hope they deliver!

Oh well field mill here we come lol but maybe not yet.can see a 1 1 draw today and results not going our way #as is the norm.if it goes to next sunday it goes to next sunday but i just wanna get it over and done with.BUT 6 points from our next 2 and Hmmmm :-)

Like everyone else, I can't see us winning. I really want us to, but wanting to win isn't going to get the 3 points.

2-1 Donny

Just hope we can win and with a good performance.

HT and it's 1-0 to Notts. Been a decent first half, Donny not really threatening but game a bit slower after the first 20 mins.

Crewe winning, Crawley drawing.

We'll we couldn't really have asked for any more from the players I thought they gave their all in today's game.

We've got to keep our fingers crossed now that Colchester don't beat Swindon and then we do the business at Gillingham.
