Looks to be a decent signing that. Had problems with injuries, but spent time in L1 and the SPL, so surely at the very least a decent L2 player?

On a side note, what are the club doing announcing signings?! Surely they are more important issues, the grass has grown another mm since yesterday ffs!

Get a grip Notts!

@BradtheMiller highly recommend him as a steady player, plus it was rumoured about him signing a few weeks back.

Good signing, I am personally pleased. He looks to be a good team player, who is quite creative!

i dont really know him but if this amount of fans respond well over the signing, he must be good.

mind, it would not be the first who did not but i hope he does. we need players of this type who sounds promising, just work with them to make sure that its a good signing, he seems decent. @BradtheMiller opinions?

I had hoped for an unlinked player myself but this seems good, Milsom is steady and offers a lot of what we have lacked in the seasons before. I hope he brings his direct play to Notts and we allow him to express himself.

I'm delighted that Rob has got a club where he can get games & not keep the bench warm. Bit part player last season if I'm honest, & played a few games for promoted Bury on loan.

Really good player for a league 2 club, predominantly left sided, but he's played at left back, left midfield AND centre midfield for us & always did a job. High work rate, strong in the tackle & has a good shot on him, especially when he scored for us v Sheffield United in our promotion season. He's also played regularly in the past for Aberdeen in the SPL.

It is a decent signing, he could have played for a l1 team easily.

Surprised to see another left sided player join but we do need depth, he sounds like quite the promising player.

Welcome Robert Milsom U pies!

Looks like a top signing I'm very pleased with this, a lot of Rotherham fans on twitter are saying we've made a really good signing. Bodes well COYP

Just watched his interview on MP. He's a quiet guy, but comes across well. Mentions a lot about Moniz wanting to play the ball on the deck and that suits him.

Very nice to hear that his previous club rate him, that's definitely a good sign IMO.

I have to be honest, I have absolutely no idea about him as a player but with everything at Notts I hope for the best.

Fans united by a signing? What is becoming of Notts County?

Not here, chill out. I mean Twitter, everyone seems to be right behind this. Hope he proves himself!

Good signing, I read that he's a left back more than a midfielder but I suspect that's where we will play him. We need a player who can shoot but create play too.

He looks to have a level head and sounds ambitious, I cannot complain about that.

This signing should be one that impresses us during the new season, hopefully people are right about him being a similar player to Jeff Hughes.

I will have to wait to see him before passing judgement, yet he looks a very promising signing. After reading opinions of the Rotherham fans on Twitter, it looks like Milsom played a big part in their back to back promotions. Wouldn't it be nice if he did the same for us?
