Back to the bread and butter stuff after last night's trip to Villa. Morecambe are one of the clubs tipped to struggle by the bookies.

They have an identical record to us. 1 win, 1 draw, 2 defeats. They managed a 3-3 draw at Portsmouth last weekend, a game they should have won really, they lead 3-0 after 38 minutes but allowed a last minute equalizer to 10 man Pompey. Before that they had only managed to score once in their 3 league games. One goal proving enough to beat Accrington at home.

I expect this to be a tight game. Morecambe aren't blessed with prolific goalscorers but we don't exactly have a tight defence. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet. 1-1 draw for me. McLeod.

After one point in three games we need to get our confidence back. And I think we will. 2-0, with the new boy up front scoring both the goals.

The fatigue is the issue after last night. I hope we can get 3 points and after last night the expectations are that we will, but the lads ran into the ground last night so they need to be handled carefully Ricardo over the next few days!!

If we don't start winning, getting better performances may stall a little. After nights like yesterday, its important to hit the ground running. No disrespect to Morecambe but we should win if we play our A+ game.

Get 3 points so we may finally start the season off after the fragmentation we have witnessed.

We don't want one off performances!!

The contrast between Morecambe and Villa couldn't be greater. Villa allowed us to play lovely football on a wide pitch. Not a chance that the Shrimpers allow us the same luxury. Their tight pitch and high tempo style will cause us endless problems.

i think, barring any injuries. We should keep the same 11 and start forming partnerships.

Yes, I agree keep it the same lineup and formation. We should do well, Stead and McLeod looked good and they need time.

If Notts can fire forwards, using Tuesday as a release outlet and if we can encourage a repeat performance, we should be fine for 3 points

it depends how we start and if we can solve the problems they throw at us.

I have this down as an away with, we must achieve that. much of the result will go down to which squad turns up, that said Morecambe will give us hell.

I think we can get a win tomorrow, we all look at the loss to Mansfield and point out their physicality but Stevenage are even better known for that, and we comfortably beat them. I think that Mansfield was a blip, no teams will play like that again and that we should walk around the pub team that Morecambe really are. 3-1 with McLeod, Amevor and Snijders to score for us

If we don't get something from this game then I can't see us being in the promotion spots (wishful thinking ;)) at the end of the season! We need points especially with the Crawley match being postponed. Losing would affect the players confidence!

I agree entirely with that but I am hoping that Moniz and the players will have learnt that we need to scrap for points in some games. I am going with a narrow win 2-1. Hopefully McLeod will give us some extra punch up front.

We don't always need to play pretty football, if teams stop this we should be able to change our style to suite. If we focused on creating chances, I am sure we would score. We have four very good strikers, Spencer, Murray, Stead and McLeod.

The pub thinks we change personality at 1400... where you can have a pint glass before 2... after 2... plastic only

Ticket office staff are great and helpful

Standing area is good
