So Adam Collin has signed for Carlisle- thoughts guys.?

Good luck to him, I have no ill feelings towards Adam Collin.

His first season was a massive disappointment for me, I felt he should have done better but he didn't seem focused. Last season I felt he greatly improved and much of what he gets singled out for lies in the way he was told to play. I think he should do okay at Carlisle.

i dont really care tbh, im glad hes gone but i felt sorry for the nonsense he had to put up with. he could have been a better players for us but we have moved on.

No ill feeling against him I’ve met him a few times and was always polite just wish he would have retained his status he seems passionate about playin but his game play don’t suit us. I wish him all the best in the world.

I think he was badly treated by some of our “supporters” during matches, some people don’t seem to know what the word supporter means. 

He’s gone now so good luck to him, I hope he does well except against us of course.

I always felt he would link up again with John Sheridan.

It was rumoured after we released him and Sheridan took over that he was going to join, I couldn't see him signing for anyone TBH.

Does Carlisle know what they have let themselves in for? Watch him keep a clean sheet against us. 

I wish him nothing but the best, as should any Notts fan.

You have to love banter like this, I bet Collin is steaming at this tweet.

Adam Collin wasn't the worst keeper Notts have had but he was far from the best, expectations are high from the level of top keepers we have had before. I wish him well but I am glad we have moved on.

There was a few fans near to where I sit that never gave up shouting nonsense at Adam Collin, even when he pulled off a good save - they would pick up on something petty or was just outright deluded.

I do think it's best we have moved on, he was never going to be accepted and we need someone a bit more alert in goal.

This may be his last club now but the rumour about him not being bothered about football is wrong.

Wish him all the best at Carlisle except when they play us. Glad he's gone to be honest. 

I think most fans are glad but I see no reason to be bitter.

I think some fans just take it out on Adam Collin because they don't like him but I think he tried his best, he let in some very soft goals but saved some outstanding shots. What is to be expected for this league? I hope he does well for Carlisle.

My thoughts are that Carlisle have signed a pretty good keeper for League 2 level.  I marginally preferred Collin to Fitzsimons, but thought we had the luxury of two decent keepers in last season's squad.  I won't have a problem giving him a bit of applause when he returns.

Just work on his weaknesses when Notts play Carlisle, if he keeps a clean sheet in both games I will be annoyed. ???? 

Why do people hate him so much?

He looked okay from what highlights I have seen, some of the mistakes appeared to be due to the defence in front of him. Good luck to him I say.
