Alot of behind the scenes staff are leaving, we are kinda used to it by now.

Sounds like the potential buyers want their own people involved, I just hope whoever it are good people who will try to connect with the fans.

It always happens because of cost saving measures and ensuring the owners have who they want around, hopefully it won't effect the good vibe going around because we have lost many good eggs and Paul is certainly one of them.

Onwards and upwards!

I really wish Alan was hanging onto Notts, he'd have the clubs best interests at heart. Only hope whoever takes over, does too.

resigned or was forced to step down as it seems like it was forced, i do not know if this is a good or bad thing but i think the takeover must happen asap.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was pushed out, it seems to happen alot in business.

well i get the takeover will see changes but surely a steady board is what is best for the club.

i think people who come in changing too much usually end up regretting it, i think out of the sponsors paul mace did some great pr work for the club.

I wish Paul Mace all the very best, good luck to him.

I hope he'll still be involved and not put off, as I feel he's a loss to the club with him being a dedicated fan.

Posted

He was more than just behind the club, but out of our hands unfortunetly.

Yes, Paul Mace did well within his role during his time at Notts. He did a lot of good things, such as giving our prizes and communicating with fans. A good face to see around Meadow Lane as he has a genuine love for the club.

Posted

I just want to see the club heading in a new direction and pulling away from the drop, my fears are the clubs future or AH deciding to keep the club if the great escape happens.

Posted

I would get used to it, I expect more to go and hopefully a reshuffle of staff that's been introduced from the golf course. Get some of the people back that AH and the door nails let go.

Posted

The staff would need to adapt and usually they do, so it will be fine.

Good luck to him, he seemed a friendly face around Meadow Lane but at least he can now be a fan.

I'm not sure it's a big deal.

A director resigned under Kevin Nolan and all hell broke loose with fans opinions, most seem disinterested about this.

Probably because we are now getting used to everyone leaving.

Everyone leaves sooner or later, I just thank Paul for his services to Notts and wish him the best of luck with his future.

Posted

Seems standard stuff really, TBH I don't even know who he is.

Posted

I don't know who he is but i remember seeing paul mace banners around the ground.

It's not necessarily a sinister thing. However, it could indicate that the takeover is already at quite an advanced stage if directors are already stepping down...

He's from a long line of Notts fans, so I'm sure he'll still be around as a fan and a sponsor.

With the latest rumours, I think it's not near the advanced stages but more Hardy re-juggling the books.
