Going to be an experience next season

 

standard of football is going to be dire, at least we know what playing rubbish football is like. i do feel the club is going to face a wake up call when the new season starts.

Reading that list makes me feel depressed, this club isn't acting like the club it should be.  

What's the point in being depressed? There's trips to seaside (Flyde, Torquay), a bit of old school (Stockport, Wrexham, Halifax) and a couple of classic Conference names for novelty value (Barrow, Woking - admittedly the novelty might have worn off by the tenth year).

Get a good team together and it might even be enjoyable!

Some of those we have played in league two before they dropped down too. Some different grounds to visit but yes it will definetly be a wake up call... It really shouldn't have come to this to get Notts to realise though.

I'm hoping some of the fixtures don't clash, as I want to attend more, but there's no way on earth I'm going to make myself worse by doing them all. I do miss the seasons where I did, these days I can't.

It should be a different season for a change.

Some good fixtures, I have no idea which ones I will be attending but I do my share.

@DangerousSausage don't you think it would be depressing to see no away fans or less than 50 turn up? That is a real risk the club faces. Meadow Lane has thrived with big crowds. Its something which either makes or breaks the match day experience.

We'll definwtly have less away fans coming to notts county.

@TheSkipper yes it will, and that'll be the norm sadly. Only a handful of those clubs will get more than 2000 at home, Flyde only took 700 to Wembley! Plus the lack of local games. Realistically only Chesterfield will bring close to four figures, possibly Stockport if it's a big match. With that in mind, maybe it could be time to reopen some of the Sirrel Stand to home fans?

Somehow the idea of going to some unusual away grounds with a big contingent of Notts fans is less depressing. And who knows, it might even be a blast - some of the best seasons I've had as a football fan have come when things looked utterly hopeless. It's the hope that drives you mad.

Bring it on! I look forward to seeing the idiots those out on away tickets because season ticket holders get first dibs.  

Its the way it will be this season unfortunetly, not much we can do about it.

Where would you place the away support?

Opening the Sirrel stand up to home fans would further reduce the Family and Pavis stands, I can't see the Kop switching.

I can't say I am fussed about attending many of the away games, besides I usually stick to the home games unless I fancy one.

There are 8 ex league clubs in that list, teams we used to play most seasons. It will be a monumental effort if we get out in my lifetime! ????

Now we have the list of team for next season the time for preparing and recruiting is now .. !! No more messing around the time to get our title out place back starts now ..!!!

There's some good fixtures and good away days, there are a lot of little grounds in league two. The national league won't be a welcome changed but it could be enjoyable.
