Display pictures....

I've just been through how to setup notifications for @Iateallthepies and, I realised he still has a generated image that the site creates when a new user signs up.

This got me thinking...

I know some users won't understand how to change their display picture, they might not have time but I am happy to assist anyone who would like to make their own more personal.

Just let me know what you'd like, if it be a player, manager or a photo of yourself.

If you'd like something editing, please just mention it.

Any photos you would like to have used, please send them to [email protected] - I'll upload them for you via the ACP here.

[I'm not singling the above out, they're the remaining users of the past 24 hours who don't have a display image].

I'm not sure if the image is classed technically as the Meadows or Wilford, it came up within a blog about the area and the blogger listed it as Wilford but I thought The Embankment area was the Meadows.

Let me know if you want it changing or not @Wilfordpie.

I think I had mine from day one, always knew who it had to be as well. None of other than the best Skipper of my time as a Notts fan.

I think I could use a better display picture, I just went with something that worked at the time.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

It would be good to see more members having their own pictures instead of a generic one.

I am happy to help upload pictures for those who might struggle.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

I'm currently doing a lot of restoration work of images and, colourising black & white pictures.

Just for fun, I thought I would have a go at digitally restoring @Fozzy's display picture. With the addition of my style digital portraits, so it's a mixture of restoring the image and using my graphic tablet to make a digital portrait of Gary Lund.

I found the image used on the Notts Twitter page.

The amount of lost detail turns the iconic picture, into something quite blurry and very faded.

Anywho, here's what I came up with.

I added a little more blur to the background after restoring it, as I felt it made it look more natural.

Happy to share Gary without my portrait work, its actually very clear. ????

That's quality @Chris I remember that I chose Lundy originally as my profile pic because I always felt he wasn't valued that much by Warnock even though He was such an intelligent footballer and very good in the air. His partnership with Gary Mac was amazing under Mick Walker.
