Hello @chipmunx, nice to be welcoming a Barrow fan to the community here. :)

McDonnell 8 - Made some important saves and including an awesome one late on

Kelly-Evans 9 - Defended resiliently and gave Remeao Hutton a hard time (Hutton was Yeovil's biggest outlet)

Rawlinson 9 - A pure champion. Great with the ball at his feet. Scored and got an assist too

Lacey 8 - Headed everything out. As cool as 10 cucumbers never mind just 1

McCrory 7 - Stuck to his responsibilites in the 1st half and resolute as the 3rd CB in the 2nd half

Shields 6 - Battled away first half before being subbed

O'Brien 8 - Controlled the flow of Notts' tempo before we had to change things around. Part of the defensive resistant second half

Crawford 8 - Ran his socks, boots and studs off and was absolutely shattered by the end. Continuenly closed down Hutton, got us going on the counter attack on occasions, linked up the play really well and should have had a penalty when through on goal

Osborne 7 - Pressed well first half against Dicko. Sometimes got his feet muddled up but linked up well with DKE and made runs with the ball into the area

Dennis 7 - Always looking for them runs and chased down the Yeovil defence

Thomas 4 - Did his best to get involved in the game and link up the play. Was stupid for the red

Brindley 7 - Part of the resistance 2nd half. Cleared it when needed

Wootton 8 - Added energy to our attack and got in some good positions resulting in a goal. Started us on the counter attack and held the ball up excellently. Got back to defend too

Rose 7 - Defended well when he came on. Resistant Rose

A truly brilliant performance. Warriors

What line-up should Neal Ardley opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

  • I missed the game due to having other arrangements, I think it shows that the squad can do well with the right approach to a game. The mentality leading in plays a vital role in what happens on the pitch.

It sounds like Jim O'Brien did well as the captain.

I am tempted to subscribe to the Piesplayer but I am unsure if I would be able to benefit from radio coverage.

I watch the updates via Twitter but it's incredibly slow for a site that prides itself on being "quick". It's hard to get into matches, yet I read a lot and the jist I got was the Yeovil wanted to play a bit undermining but Notts prevailed.

Winning a game with only 9 men on the pitch shows a lot of character, it's a good result.

How many current squad players do you look up-to or like? Who's your favourite player purely based on their personality?

Is the same player, the one you rate the most based on their football ability?

Since Lacey signed we've had 8 league games, keeping clean sheets in 5 of them. He has also allowed Michael Doyle to have more freedom in the centre, so he doesn't have to keep coming deep to collect the ball and that helps us get going on the front foot.

Rawlinson looks a lot more confident bringing the ball out of defence and has been a rock this season.

This begs the question, is there anyway back for Ben Turner into the starting x1 picture?

I don't know if anyone's noticed, but I have been seeing a lot of adverts for 'Shudder' the Netflix of Horror. It took a few weeks to spike my interest properly, as the teasers and adverts wasn't that clear in my opinion.

What caught my attention was 'Creepshow', a show I loved as a kid.

I enjoyed the films too.

However, it's cool to see so many returning classics and a subscription service catered just to horror fans. Netflix is pretty awful for just having jump scare films with a major lack of detail. Now, don't get me wrong - there are some great shows and films produced by them in the genre but very few classics.

It's worth a look if you haven't.

Anyone seen the new Creepshow series?

Brilliant week this week, celebrated my 20th birthday on friday with @ARLukomski, we celebrated in Frankie and Benny's, I got a free meal which is a bonus.

I did have to do 5 days at work before my birthday, but they were good shifts, nice and easy.

I saw a cracking game of football last night, what a goal by Enzio! Feel sorry for my family as some of them are Chesterfield fans, but can't go to matches.

Just writing this on the train to Nottingham to meet up with @Chris, which I am looking forward to and having a nice catch up.

Overall, January was an alright month, not much happened really apart from a trip to Maidenhead, a birthday and a load of work shifts. Now we move onto February, lets see what happens this month.

How was your week and January as a whole?

Four of my images, featured recently in the 'Faces of PON' edited in black & white.

Which captures the win the best in your opinion?

Chesterfield have secured the loan signing of Nathan Tyson until end of the season.

https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news/2020/january/tyson-to-chesterfield-220120/

His body language the last few times that I have seen him, well, it told a story. I know he spoke to @NottsGeezer - he also told me that he wanted to be playing and felt 'disappointed' that he didn't get much game time after his injury. I hope this loan move works for him, as I thought he might consider hanging up his boots.

Fitzsimons 8 - For all that has gone on this week, his professionalism was absolute first class. Credit to the club today. Two good saves along with a penalty save. Ross Fitzsimons baby

Brindley 6 - Sometimes chose the wrong option when passing but solid enough

Rawlinson 7 - Dealt with Denton the bean pole. Brought the ball out of defence

Lacey 7 - Solid again. Dealt with Denton. Didn't really have to deal with Boden as he wasn't there

Kelly-Evans 8 - Superb. Made runs forward. Did well defensively and passing was good

Roberts 8 - Excellent first home game. Brilliant passing and carried the ball well. Cracking assist for KW. Pure sauce

O'Brien 8 - Kept it ticking. Made the passing and the football flow so nicely

Rose 6 - Solid. Better overall with his distribution

Boldewijn 7 - Scored a belter, won the ball back and ran at the opposition. He's good at that. When he runs at the oppositions defence they don't know what to do. Carries the ball forward so well

Thomas 6 - Didn't have the best of first halves but battled away. Ended up being K-dub's show

Wootton 7 - 2 goals and was much better 2nd half. Got into the game more and good positioning for the second goal

Crawford 6 - Shored the midfield up to help us see the game out

Bird 6 - Clearance at the back post helped us to a clean sheet. Like Crawford helped us see the game out

Dennis 6 - Not much for him to do as we were already 3 up and game was over

Who should come in and replace him? I think Jim O’Brien will need a few more games to be match sharpe, Regan Booty is out supposedly with a back injury.

I’m not worried, I think it will actually help the club in the long run.

More people are becoming aware that food and products are shrinking, but the prices don't.

Do you accept this as normal?

Does it put you off the products or do you just shop smarter? I am curious to hear opinions on this.

Some of you might have heard about this in the news ... the former Chesterfield and Huddersfield player Jordan Sinnott has died at the age of just 25 after suffering a fractured skull after a night out in Retford.

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-51249670

For any of you planning a night out next weekend, just remember to look after yourselves and avoid anyone who's looking for trouble. It only takes one idiot for something tragic to happen :(

Welcome to PON @Darryl Broughton

I hope to see you join in our friendly community.

As the Danish physicist Niels Bohr once said, "prediction is very difficult, especially if it's about the future." But let's have a go at it anyway. The next round of matches for the PON prediction league is on Saturday at 3pm, you have one joker each. Good luck!

Hello @BlackJin, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.

I noticed your post to the best current players with potential, are you Chinese? I don't think PON has any fans from China.

I don’t watch a lot of television, but I have subbed to Netflix due to recommendations and I do have cable installed now in my home.

My question is......

What are you watching right now?

Do you have any suggestions on what to watch too? Let me know.

Former forward Mick Vinter has sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 65.

He joined notts in 1971 and the magpies were his first professional team. Mick left Notts in 1979 but continued to live in nottingham as a coach when he retired as a player.
