According to Radio Red

The beast Akinfenwa has been released by the dons, would you have him at Notts?

From what ive seen he's the opposite of Izale! He is a big strong lad that gets himself about a lot

With the BBC reporting that John Sheridan is going to be announced as the new manager, does this give us an indication of what is happening behind the scenes? I'm assuming that Sheridan is still under contract with Oldham so that would mean compensation is being paid? Could this mean one of two things? The take over is finally happening, or has Ray Trew tidied up the toys and is going to have one more crack at it? I can't imagine that this appointment would be made if it was the case of Trew just letting the club bobble on by?

Wot the title sez. They play-offs kicked off last night, with Plymouth drawing 2-2 at Portsmouth. But who's going up? Anyone who predicts this right wins a lock of my hair.

Championship: Brighton

League One: Bradford

League Two: Accrington

Basically saying 4 "big" loan players not adequately replaced? I recall previous recollections by Derry that Cassidy was a major loss! Early signs of dementia maybe....

Interesting comments on wages in L2, Cambridge players on 500 to 1250 per week

The club have extended the early bird season ticket deal until Saturday 4th June! Its only a few days longer but its extended none the less!

Was just casually watching this today and I couldn't help but think of Liam Noble whenever Didier Peskovic was mentioned... see for yourselves!

The Nottingham post are reporting that we have 'parted company' with Guy Branston!

No, not at Notts County. Inverness Caley Thistle have shared a letter sent by Ewen, a 7-year-old boy, applying to manage the Scottish club.ewen_manager_application.jpg

He'd certainly be a budget option - all he wants is a bit of help with his homework, and his credentials are on par with Jamie Fullarton...

Now Mark Cooper has gone who would you want in charge next season ?

Guy branston ? Trev the groundsman? Or Tina the tea lady?

Just read on another board about bills outstanding and ccj's , don't know how accurate these comments are , but if true not a good reflection of our club , thoughts please

Has been published.

A new contract has been offered to Wes Atkinson, who made 18 appearances for the Magpies during the 2015/16 season. Defender Haydn Hollis has also been offered a new deal. Jordan Richards option taken up.
Valencic and Murray released, but given the option to try and earn a new contract. Bye bye everyone else, apart from the player coaches.

Dear all,
Given that research is finding a more sanitised and gentrified culture of British football (see:https://www.academia.edu/18862556/Football_Fans_Views_of_Violence_in_British_Football_Evidence_of_a_Sanitized_and_Gentrified_Culture), I am hoping you could spare a few minutes to share your views on policing at football:

Thanks in advance.

114 years was a long time between drinks. I'd like to be in Leith tonight!

Another amazing double for our Italian Brothers who have just clinched their eleventh Coppa Italia title!!

What potential players would you like Notts to sign for next season?

So, who's going to be watching this later? Who do you think will win Palace or United?

It's been a few years since I have even been remotely interested in watching the final, however this year I am. I would hate to dismiss Palace as just by making the final it's a great achievement and I tend to always root for the underdog (surely this season that would be united???) but yeah, if United use their quality and play as a team - they should win quite comfortably.

This will highlight what type of 'United' side van Gaal has but good luck Palace.

It's a pity that we were unable to sign him after taking him on loan during the Munto era.

I seem to recall Charlie McP. saying that a price had been agreed...... but like everything else about the Munto times, the money just wasn't there.

Enjoy the pic guys!!!!

Given the state of our Central Defensive options, even Krystian would have been a better option to return...perhaps he has learnt more about defensive positioning since his last spell with us

I'm sat watching the game, Sheff Wed got off to a good start in their first leg - but this game hasn't quite started. I have to say, Derby look decent going forward but Tom Ince repeatedly going down easily is being a kill joy.

Oh and Hull have just scored.

Game on? Come on DERBY!!

Happy Birthday @notts-joe

Only 40 years young:lol::lol:

What I will say that Stanley should command a transfer fee of say Eur 200,000  that should help pay Mansfield and lift the embargo... To release on a free, you can forget season ticket money from me...and a vote of no confidence in the new CEO
