After a long trip to Bristol on Tuesday, Notts are heading for Devon on Saturday, a trip of 213 miles. The fixture computer obviously doesn't take distance into account...........
Exeter are 11th in the table. They have 21 points, 3 points ahead of Notts. They have scored 20 goals (2 more than Notts) and conceded 20 goals (1 less than Notts). They won 1-0 at home to Cambridge last night.
Exeter like to play the ball on the ground. They play at a high tempo and work very hard to get the ball back. They actually do better against teams that like to play the ball on the ground. They have trouble against physical sides.
Exeter's most dangerous player is their front man Tom Nichols. Hopefully Exeter go with Joel Grant alongside him, because Nichols and Clinton Morrison are a better combination. Morrison didn't play last night. Morrison might not score as many goals as he did, but he is creating chances for others.
Notts are a side that suit Exeter. We won't bully them. We will play football. If we sit back like we did against Bristol Rovers then they will punish us. If we defend well and hit them on the counter, we will create chances against their defence.
If we get our tactics right, I think we'll be OK, but I have a feeling we won't. I think RM will do what he did on Tuesday and I feel it won't work. I'm going for a 2-1 win for the home side. Noble on target for us.
This topic is more awareness related I suppose what do parents think to games like Grand Theft Auto and certain games of that genre.
Would you allow you're child to play those games at a age of 16 etc
As I was reading today a guy in America was underaged and played GTA Vice City and one mission was you stole a police car and eliminated Police.
He then went out in the real world stole a police car I believe and killed two police officers and a dispatcher but then when he was caught he said the video game made him do it.
Can a video game really cause people to behave in such a sick twisted manner I mean I have had every GTA and in never even had a criminal record not even now
There was another case when I lived in west brom when another Rockstar game came out called manhunt which was horrific and eventually got banned in the uk.
Which made the game even harder to get but a guy from Walsall played the game and went out an did some horrific act and again said the game told him to do it.
Now the question is simple are video games for our children or is it people with mental issues should not be allowed to play these games.
Personally I play these games and understand what's right and wrong ones a game it's a different world and one is the real world what do you parents and grandparents think.
Would you allow you're children to play games like this with supervision so you could see if it's a suitbale thing as I
think most people want these types of games as all there mates get them aswell and they don't want to be out of the crowd
Today is the day that Marty McFly travels to in Back to the Future 2. Just realised on my way to work - nearly fell off my hoverboard.

I know it's early only 14 games in and but are the teams in the play offs any better then us on our day Plymouth seem to think they've won the league already stags think there play offs contenders.
I Rember this time last year we was 2nd at one point flying thinking of the play offs til our luck ran out.
Seems the teams up the top are getting abit carried away already hopefully we are starting to pick up now and show what we are capable of.
As its surely got to be a matter of time before we take off I don't think I've seen a team down the lane were in said damn there amazing.
Plus we still have players coming back in Ronan Murray Rob Milsom Kyle De Silva Taylor Mclenzie IZALE is hopefully nearly 100% Hewitt is getting better by the minute
Thoughts views opinions welcome

I like Mark as a commentator/summariser on radio Nottm but how many times does he say "like I say" during a match.

There was a discussion on the radio this morning, it featured a chap who had come over on a visit from the USA and he said that Nottingham was a really friendly place to be, he asked for directions and was helped, it is something he said you would never do in the States because you wouldn't want folk to know you didn't know the area because it was too dangerous.
I find that the further south you go and particularly in the London area the people are just not friendly at all, especially when driving, there is no courtesy of letting someone into a stream of traffic it's every man for himself, I do find that in this area people in general are more courteous and strangers will sometimes talk to you and smile. There are of course exceptions to the rule, younger people I find are less courteous than older people.
What do you think? Is Nottingham a friendly place?

My first Notts game was a trip to Bristol Rovers. Notts lost 2-0. I don't want to talk about it.
Rovers are 2 points above us with a game in hand.
Rovers are on a 3 game winning streak. Their 2-1 win against Mansfield yesterday was incident packed. Easter scored and was sent off so he won't be facing us. Mansfield had 2 players sent off and Taylor scored a 98th minute winner.
Taylor and Harrison are their danger men. Taylor has scored 4 in 4. We won't get much time on the ball against them, they play a typical high tempo League 2 style.
I think it will be a 1-1 draw. Stead for us. We need to start picking up points on the road. It's a long trip on a Tuesday night and a point would be fantastic.

One of the best managers of his time. Everton legend. Spent some time at the lane in 1995. Anyone have memories to share?

We are lucky enough not have had cause to use the NHS much at all but a recent experience has really impressed us.
Last week Mrs. H. phoned for an appointment at the doctors because she was worried about something, she got an appointment the same day with a lady doctor, the doctor was concerned enough to get her a fast track appointment to see a specialist. When she got home from the doctors that afternoon she received a phone call from the hospital to say that she had an appointment yesterday just a week after her initial phone call.
As you can imagine we spent a week worrying about the outcome especially as the doctor and hospital were so keen to get her looked at, we went yesterday and she spent two hours being poked and prodded and having lots of tests but thankfully they gave her the all clear and said everything was ok. What a fantastic service, just one week from the initial phone call to the doctors to seeing a specialist in the hospital.
Thank God for the NHS I am pretty sure you wouldn't get that level of service free anywhere else in the world.

What was the last movie/film you watched?
We all tend to remember classic movies we watched over and over again as children, but as we get older we have less free time for them.

The Council are set to introduce a £2 parking charge on Trent Embankment for anyone staying longer than an hour.
If you park there for matches (as I do) then this will increase your matchday costs.
The thing that annoys me (apart from having to pay £2) is that the charges will be payable by phone. This assumes that everyone has a mobile phone, unless they are going to put phone boxes in strategic places, which I doubt.
Do you think this is fair? Will it affect you? Will it affect the gates at Meadow Lane?

As most of the German football discussion is going on under "Best league", I've taken the liberty of opening a dedicated thread.
After 13 games Borussia Dortmund sit rock bottom of the table. Before the season started I thought this could be their year again with virtually all of Bayern's team having started pre-season late due to the World Cup. How wrong I was! Earlier in the season they were playing alright, creating chances but just nothing would fall for them.
The beauty of the Bundesliga is its unpredictability, Bayern apart. Who could imagine Manchester United actually battling relegation?
In other (entirely predictable) news, according to Kicker Lukas Podolski has said he'd love to play for his home town club Cologne again. It might not be his next move but he'll certainly end his career there.

Yeovil joined us in League 2 this season. It hasn't been easy for them. 9 points from 12 games sees them 1 place above the drop zone. They are an average side at best.
Anything less than a home win would be disappointing. 3-1 to Notts. Izzy (2) and Burke.

@[member="Blackville"] and I are going to the Wigan - Leeds game on Saturday at Old Trafford. It'll be a great occasion with Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock, Kylie Leuluai and Matty Bowen all retiring at the end of the game. A 73 000 sell-out
It'll also be interesting to see what the crowd is at Wastelands for the RWC (sic) match between England and Uruguay. It was an act of collosal hubris by the RFU to stage the game in direct competition with the Grand Final. It's certainly cost the game of Rugby Union a lot of friends in the north of England.
