I voted for Platt today for man of the match. He was a colossus at the back for Notts once again and he got up the field to score a strikers goal too.

Robertson made a big difference when he came on & bossed the midfield for Notts.

Austin was as industrious as ever & got an assist by taking a great pass from Crowley & putting in a great cross for Platt to score his goal.

Crowley didn't have his greatest game for Notts but was still orchestrating the Notts chances, & that pass to Austin to put him in was exquisite.

Abbott was industrious & could easily have scored but for a great save from the Morecambe goalie

Tsaroulla steady at the back & managed some penetrating runs too.

McGoldrick worked hard upfront but only got a few opportunities today, but he was at the back to clear off the line in injury time to save a point for Notts, thus demonstrating his commitment all over the field today.

David McGoldrick was everywhere on the pitch. He was crucial in making Notts County work, especially since the team seemed limited in the first half. From what others have said and from what I heard on the radio, I have to agree that Didzy was the key player.

David McGoldrick did some very exceptional work, at times when it failed - it was simply due to his age rather than a lack of effort. He was very good. Several times he helped defensively, where his interceptions allowed us to come away with the ball, unfortunately he needed a bit of pace around him, but he was my Man of the Match.

He performed very well.

Platt is my man of the match just ahead of Didzy.

Great defensively and scored a goal. He also had a brilliant through ball to Abbot, who nearly scored.

i thought george abbott and sam austin where very good, but david mcgoldrick was the workhorse against morecambe. he was involved a lot and had to use his experience to help us, had he not been forced into so much work i think he would have been more effective on goal and therefore noticed more but his performance on the pitch was top draw yesterday.

For me, Dan Crowley stood out. He made a few poor decisions, but he tried throughout the game to get us going. It’s unfortunate that some of the players were not on the same wavelength. David McGoldrick also played well.

I thought very few of our players could say they performed well. It wasn’t like Notts to give the ball away so easily or not attack as a composed team. In my opinion, only three players deserve to be in the running for this. One was taken off when he was becoming more of a threat, another is listed, but I chose the player I believe deserves it most.

A few players performed really well. It wasn’t so much about individual performances, but as a team, nothing quite clicked when it mattered. I have voted for David McGoldrick.

The sensible decision for me is to name the player who used his ability and experience to try to make a difference to the overall performance, and that is David McGoldrick.

I think Dan Crowley played well, despite some faults. He tried to make us play with more of an attacking threat and linked players well. He gets my vote!

I thought David McGoldrick worked very hard and took it upon himself to try to influence the game. People say he played too deep, but some of his defensive work saved us from danger, and his efforts to get us attacking were similar to Dan Crowley’s. Didzy gets it for me.

I voted for David McGoldrick, but to be fair, I could have voted for a few others. However, I felt McGoldrick put in the best personal and team performance.

Sam Austin gets my vote because I thought he worked hard. His crossing was dangerous and effective, leading to several chances, including our equaliser.

I thought several players did well, but my Man of the Match would be David McGoldrick. I thought the Morecambe voters made a sensible decision with their player. Had it been Notts, I don’t think we would agree that the sponsors chose rightly.

It’s surprising to see how the voting has turned out. I voted for David McGoldrick, who has 59.46% of the votes. Matty Platt has 18.92%, while Dan Crowley and Sam Austin each have 8.11%.

I voted for David McGoldrick because I thought he put in so much effort into his performance and was one of the few players who dug deep enough in both halves.

Didzy gets my vote too. I thought Sam Austin did superbly, and Matty Platt and Jacob Bedeau were solid at the back. Yet McGoldrick wins my vote for his performance.
