What are your new year's resolutions?

I want to get rid of my Christmas belly and moobs. Plus I want to play the guitar well enough that it is possible to almost discern a tune. Been learning for about four weeks now. Was hoping to see Notts at the new Wembley but that one might have to wait ...

i hope to start going on further bike rides, start to get back into fitness. i also hope to find more time for pon as i miss it.

I have not made any, I never keep to them anyway. Enough about me! What else has anyone committed themselves to not doing?

Hello everyone, looks like I've been banished from another forum that shall remain nameless so I thought I'd give this one a go.  I've seen a few familiar names on here already.

Regarding new year resolutions, I've made two:

1. I'm not going to drink any more in 2016

2. I'm not going to drink any less in 2016

Myself, I'm not going to allow things to waste my time. Hopefully this will lead to less regrets or hassle in the near future. So far, this positivity is working!

Secondly, I want to have more quality time with my family - by this I mean proper days out and doing things more towards what we haven't. Like travelling, small breaks but there's much to do for me to keep this.

As you may know.....I was barred as well......for suggesting "barred persons" moved to another site......is that a joke?......apparently not.

PLM has lost the plot......big-time!!

Nice to say hello again Tarquin, hope things are good in sunny Mexico.  Apparently my 'crime' was being involved in a petty argument - a bit strange seeing as 50% of the topics on there involve petty arguments!

To be honest Elite, me getting barred was fine......I have found this site and though it is a bit too quiet for my liking, I genuinely think things will liven up once a few more start using it.

The amount of pre-match and post-match stuff is superb.......it just needs a dozen or so new users to start posting and this site will be great

I said I wouldn't drink last year, what makes anyone think I will stick to it this time? Resolutions are fine in hindsight, its like joining a gym but when it comes to going you just do not want to do it.

This year I aim to motivate myself more.

My New Year resolution is to not make a new year resolution..

Dammit. 

I aim to reduce my sugar intake and start eating healthier.

One fine day, I hope to be banned from a certain forum. But it would involve logging on first.

Nice to see you again andy.  Regarding bans, have a glance at the Weymouth board on there and it may answer some of your questions.  This site is well worth sticking with, you get the usual moans, groans and differences but no fans who seem to take pleasure in Notts doing badly and no trolls from other clubs.

If you didn't see the Weymouth board andy, forget it - it has suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from the network!!!  I wonder why?  At least it proves all my claims are 100% correct.  Hopefully someone will alert those in power as to what is going on.

 

ps If anyone on here has any contact details to any mods on NCM, I would be grateful if you could let me have them.

I read your Weymouth post, Elite, before it was deleted.

The whole episode is clearly bizzare.

How many of us got barred that same week?........still unsure whether i actually broke any rules....c'est la vie!

I had my doubts over the true identity of PLM, and I voiced them just prior to my ban.....that post was also deleted!!

As far as I recall, Plym had his own username and also was a younger guy with an Asian wife.......why did he say he was "off to tuck in the grandkids"?.......if it was Plyms Dad, the one-legged chap.....then why did he not acknowledge my post where I introduced myself as having been introduced to him at one of my pubs in Sutton by Cobra back in 2012?.......instead, that thread was pulled and I got barred for suggesting we all move to PON?

This is starting to sound like Tarrkers Tall Tales!!.............anyway, I am happy here, even though it is a bit quiet at times

ps I miss all the O/T banter and I now notice that almost all of MAD is now footy-related......was it a deliberate attempt to cut out all the non-football threads?

pps I notice PLM is having a "pop" at you this morning Elite, at 7.41am.....his use of basic English is pretty odd?

Hi Andy, good to see you over on this site......we need a few more to "liven" the site up a bit....hahaha.

Yes, as I said to Elite, the whole thing was pretty bizarre....I think six or seven of us were banned on the same night?.....most were involved in the "Paris Attacks" thread that was removed after it reached 2,000 views and 150 comments......personally I thought the thread was ok, a few emotional posts but nothing serious?

My ban, was apparently for suggesting that all the "exiles" moved over here!!
