ardley believes some want notts to fail

Featured Replies

With comments such as this, he would have been wiser to avoid mentioning it. It looks like he can't handle the heat and has been annoyed by it. Now he's biting, which is something people should avoid.

Most people just want Notts to succeed.

There's always some on social media that breath too much negativity, just leave them to it.

I honestly feel mentioning it or even attempting to address it by no means will just lead to a bigger problem. Now, fans will be discussing and those who are seeming like they want Notts to fail will be feeling like they have won.

How are these comments constructive at all?

I agree, Neal Ardley seems to be feeling the pressure now.

i do think some on twitter only talk about notts when they have something to complain about, very little positivity from some. i also feel ardley has made a mistake by saying this, other fans might come on board and try to make a difference.

but its like feeding trolls imo, which you should never do.

Poor comments from a manager with a good level of experience, I fail to see how the comments can help in a time like now. I do think Neal Ardley wants the best for the club but there are certain things you should never say in a press conference. This type of bomb is one, the club should avoid trying to blame a small minority.

A few good performances, and this could all be yesterday's news.

I focus on trying to see a proper perspective with how things are going, the comments are poor - he's entitled to his view. I just don't feel it should have been made public. Some of my criticism of local reporting is how quickly these types of stories are spun, yet things like pushing for answers over the lack of game time for Matt Tootle, poor form, tactical errors - just makes me wonder if we have the right perspective with what is happening with the club.

Valid things seem to be avoided, sensational headlines like this get the go too commonly for my liking.

What does it exactly achieve? More negativity, more dishearten fans....

Surely it's not the players????? Very often it seems like it!!!!!Β
