I am expecting 3 to 4 changes from Saturday as Neal Ardley balances the squad for Saturday, I would hope to see a good performance over 90 minutes but provided a goal result comes that is the main thing.

Start Tom Crawford and Jim O'Brien, rest Enzio and Roberts. Bring in Shields and Osbourne. Dennis and Thomas upfront.

Load the bench with quality.

I'm looking forward to getting back to Meadow Lane tonight, I have a good feeling that a win is on the cards. Aldershot are a typical non league side, one which Notts should do well against. Creativity and service to the forward is the main thing, score early and Notts should control the game.

My prediction is 2-0. Thomas and Enzio to score.

I expect Enzio & Osbourne will start and. My dilemma would be resting Wootton means playing Thomas who doesn’t fill me with confidence, then a toss up between Dennis and Wilson along side him.

this is the kind of game we could really make a statement and find ourselves in the top 3 but history suggests we’ll fall short.
I predict 0-0 at best.

An important win. Moves Notts into the top 3, top 3 means Notts avoid the first round of the playoffs which means only having to win 2 games to gain promotion. Also Notts are guaranteed a home tie if they finish 2nd or 3rd. That's a huge advantage.

Fantastic result! In view of the coronavirus I think we should now skip the rest of the season and move straight onto the play-offs. Who's in favour? :D

cal roberts looks a special player, he did ever so well as did kyle wootton.

aldershot stunned notts and the defence looked awkward after they scored, but i always had faith notts could pull it back because of how the players attacked. it came alive in the second half and i really enjoyed the game.

Very good game, Aldershot looked good on the ball but awful where it mattered. I thought they would stun us but managed to hang in there.

Grew in confidence once Roberts found the back of the net.

Notts looked class going forward, I though Enzio played quite well.

First time for awhile we have looked a threat down both sides and Aldershot put players onto him and Roberts. Once Notts got level, I agree, I felt they would crumble and if we kept at the same tempo more goals would be scored.

I thought it was going to end 5-1 at one point.

Entertaining game even though Notts appeared to be stargazers in the first half, Aldershot converted an excellent built up goal.

Notts responded well from that setback.

Second half ended up being the better of the two, simply due to Notts dominating it but it was a good game.

Very good 3 points, of course they all are but it was important to back up the Barrow result and not waste it by losing the next game. Building pressure at the top at the right time, hope it continues.

Strong showing to pull back the game, I thought both teams played equally well in the first half but Notts kept that pressure on from the end of the first period and took the points.

Both teams gave everything to the game, I do feel Aldershot can consider themselves somewhat unlucky because they silenced Notts by scoring. It took Notts some time to get the equaliser, but once it came momentum was on Notts side.

I thought Aldershot just need better finishing, enjoyable game.

Aldershot seems like a bigger result now that the leagues been suspended, if it resumes it could be here that decides between playoffs or automatic. I know, it’s a long way off.
