Transfer Rumours : Cedwyn Scott

Featured Replies

I believe Sam Austin is about to sign with EastEnders. He wants to join Junior Morias. Adam Chicksen is also making a shocking move to Coronation Street to join The Altovalent Institute. Cedwyn Scott to Stockport? No, I don't believe it.

Just looked for it. Looks like it's an unreliable source and very old too.

Cedwyn Scott is staying, and he’d be hard to replace. He’s a striker, not a midfielder.

TransferCentre9 is about the most useless transfer account on there. It once said that Bristol Rovers defender James Connolly was moving to another club (can't remember which) even though he'd signed for Crewe a week before

Speculation and rumors will link almost all of our players at some point, but I wouldn’t worry. I also don’t believe these fake accounts. As @Robbie and @ARLukomski have mentioned, it’s false news.

TC9 seems to spin a lot of false rumours out, I can see that by looking at the most recent content. I wouldn't buy into it. If you are going to report on things like this, you want to make sure you protect your reputation, not allow the rumours to be that. "Deal could be sorted soon" isn't a common way to sum it up either; "could" makes it sound doubtful. If you're confident of a player making a move, something like "expected" is much better.

The problem with rumors is that there’s often no way to validate them. However, I think this one can be dismissed. It doesn’t look real. It’s not an account related to League Two. It reads like a general account that isn’t serious about reporting transfer news.

It is likely a child posting the messages to confuse and annoy fans. I am surprised that they are paying for the blue tick. It seems such a waste to spread false information. However, perhaps the intention is to make money from it, in which case the platform needs to address the issue.
