So I know the retaining list and the gaffers future hasn’t been published or announced yet but what do you think the squad needs to look like next season what players do we need keep or attract for next season?

I think the core of the squad is better than something, yes key positions need filling and questions remain regarding Kristian Dennis/Kane Hemmings feature - yet I think on paper Neal Ardley should be pleased.

If he signs the right players, pace and hard-working ethos needed there.

I think the club should be able to build a decent squad, I don't think the squad will be the issue next season either - I think promotion will rely on things outside of that. Really, it will take time, but overall I think with the improvements we should be fine.

Gary Liddle returning would be good but I don't see why he would re-join.

Notts should look at Hartlepool and poach some of their good players.

The squad needs to be bigger, faster and more able to deal with the physical side of football. If Notts tries to play pretty football in the national league, they'll get a big shock.

grit determination, fight, passion and team spirit.

i agree the team needs to be taller in height and fast at breaking, if notts could turn dead attacks into something dangerous that would be good.

We are lacking a good goalkeeper, good strike force and defence. Midfield is ok.

Experienced Keeper, one experienced Centre Half, Experienced central midfielder (who can still run), Target Man and quick partner. The rest of the side needs a lot of legs, physical presence and the ability to listen to those around them. Squad of 22 maximum and use the loan market when needed to supplement the side.

Notts needs another keeper, ideally two experienced ones.

The defenders need to be physical but good at dealing with pressure, wingers need pace and to be direct. Just a whole lot more hard working.

Stronger squad that does not give in so easily.

A lot more pace and experience, they players need to fight for the ball and control it. I would be disappointed if we spent another season chasing shadowns and nobody wanting to have the ball at their feet.

Use it well and force the opposition into making mistakes.

Stronger, more focused and useful.

I want to see the squad capable of battling.

Go a goal behind, regroup and be stronger. I don't see why we can't have a squad that can play to different styles, formations or adjusting to tactics. Provided they play as a team Notts will be better off.

Having a squad that can change to adapt to different teams style of play will be more beneficial in non league.

Passionate and dedicated players who will play the county way and play for the club and fans not devise the squad like some players do

Keep a small group of like 25, have quality throughout and don’t panic buy. If a player doesn’t fit in or offers any unique don’t sign them.
