Model professional, I am sure he knows there's more than a defensive issue but I feel he knows confidence is a big thing throughout the squad.
-
I think Stead looks better in the team this season with better players around him, he's also thrived under the competition of Dennis and Hemmings replacing him.
-
Jon's won fans over again, hope he can remain in form. He seems to be in the zone and one of our best players right now.
-
Right now defence is a issue tootle and Duffy injured Jones is suspended but we have signed a couple of defenders but they need a bit of time to adjust.
Whats your thoughts guys ?

Harry Kewell needs to be more on his toes when shouting instructions, the interview is about what you can expect. I just hope he's given the players some advice which they can put into use.
-
I most understand where he's coming from, however I don't think a sane person can say we have played well under him.
45 minutes against Grimsby isn't enough.
Exeter was a shambles, we are lucky we wasn't punished by more goals and force Fitzsimons deserves praise for some of the saves. However, I still feel he should have done better with some of the goals he conceded. His awareness and positioning seems very poor.
-
Better interview for sure, Kewell seems pleased and I'm optimistic about the talk of hard work.

13th September (today) is the official release date of the demo there has been issues with it but have all been sorted. Any one going to download it.?

I agree everything mentioned by @Chris.
Scoring goals isn't easy for Notts but we look goo, conceding them is the complete opposite and the question must be why the defence still hasn't made that much of a difference despite them working hard? I think teams know how to punish us and I don't the club realise how easy it is right now.
-
I do feel things could improve and winning ways return, but there is still work to be done.
If we can narrow down the chances the opposition get, things may improve all round but the best way would be to control the game. I felt at times Notts did this well but certain players rushed the play and it ended abruptly. Jon Stead started numerous promising attacks, only for Lewis Alessandra or Noor Husin to kill off the move.
Promising signs I feel.
-
I don't understand how people can call criticism abuse? There are some on social media sites who get personal or borderline abusive but as a paying fan or supporter it gives us the right to say our opinion. Fitzsimons this season has shown us why he was plucked out of the Non League, he should be replaced.
Other than that the game was positive, I felt Notts played well but errors at the back cost the club three points again.
That's disappointing but I accept it.

https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news/2018/september/evina-and-turley-sign/
Well here we go ladies and gentlemen, It looks like business is up this year at Meadow Lane. Evina looks really good as a quick pacey left back which will suit Hemmings and Dennis's style of play a lot more. Turley looks strong but wasn't who I was hoping for in Anton Ferdinand unfortunately. I feel as if these were panic buys to show the fans that Hardy has seen that there is problems in defence. However this provides lots of competition at the back now and is exactly what we needed. Bird is out of the picture I think which should mean he has to go out on loan in January.
Let me know your thoughts down below.

I have been keeping an eye out for your scores, after missing out on the playoff final and having watched your recruitment. I felt dead certain that you guys would be pushing for promotion, you have a lot of quality players and seemed to have strengthened wisely. I don't claim to know everything about your club but I have a soft spot for Notts, and It's hard to understand what's going wrong.
A win Saturday could make the world of a difference and it could put you looking healthier against teams like Morecambe, Grimsby and Northampton.
From the outside it would seem you have altered the balance of your squad quite dramatically and so far things haven't clicked on the pitch. It's important for the players to enjoy playing and conceding goals achieves the complete opposite. I wish you all well, Notts deserves to be playing much higher than League Two for sure. Meadow Lane is a fantastic away day and I am sure many other clubs supporters would wish you the same.
Last thing to note, having seen your highlights. I can understand why Palace allowed your keeper to move on and why he never played for Bolton. He looks lost and greatly down on his luck. Sign a keeper and Elliot Ward will sort you out.
Good luck Magpie fans,
nightOWL.

There's signs that the team can build on from here, but cutting Fitzsimons slack only comes from people who realise the club won't sign a new keeper and this isn't a solution for a forward thinking club.
-
Something to build on, I would have taken a point at the start so i guess I can't complain. Onward and upwards.
-
i feel the exact same way, its good to see the creativity and defence improve from the previous games.
i do feel that its a worry if we dont score tho.
-
-
If you have a spare 10 minutes this is absolutely worth the watch with match highlights from Leicester's relegation battle to being crowned Premier League Champions despite being 5000/1 to win the League and favourites to go down. Unbelievable story. Lets hope Notts have the same desire to turn this around ... it starts tomorrow, COYP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Some announcements due at 11-30 today according to Alan Hardy , hope for a tough tackling midfield general and a keeper maybe , what do you think anyone heard anything?
-
I would like to see what everyone's current post count is?
In a months time I would like to compare the differences.
Mine is 1,302 as of this post.

Good morning, it’s a bit chilly here but the sun is up. A big thank you to @samwatto2008 for starting the daily chat thread these last couple of days, by the way it doesn’t have to be a team member who starts the thread, if you’re up early and want to start it off just put the title and the date and it’ll start the ball rolling with everyone telling us about their day.
Well we’re in Taunton at a big meet up with other campervan friends, the meet is being hosted by a Motorhome dealer and tonight it’s a hog roast and free beer, hopefully I’ll be celebrating a Notts win, obviously I can’t get to the match so if you’re going give them a cheer from me. YOUPIES!
What’s everyone else up to?

I thought it would be a good idea to start a game whereby we asked members of PON a question.
If you are asked something, please do reply and pass the invisible microphone onto the next member that you wish to ask a question. I'll start with @menzinho.
Would you please tell me the decision behind your username on PON, why did you go for the former Brazilian international Menzinho?
-
Sorry folks this is extremely late, however I have only just woke up after having a long one on nights yesterday. Wasn't in until 6am so asleep for sort of 6:30am. Bit of a quiet one from me today again however this is my last night shift of the week so will be looking forward to a few days off.
Think I am going to get my haircut at a place called Easy Barber in Sutton-in-Ashfield, it's nice and cheap and the staff do a good job however they are all self employed and I like supporting local business.
Then I will probably go to ASDA to get some bits for tea, think were having some chicken pakoras with onion bhajis with salad. So will get some bits for that and then gym later with my mate. Then it will be all chilling out up until work. Unfortunately no Friday feeling from me, as for the rest of you let me know how you're getting on this Friday? Early finishes?

Think of two questions, leave one open for anyone to answer but once it is move onto another question. You have to think of two scenarios where each option has to be said which is best.
With the second put it to a PON member of your choice.
Open question: Who's better in your opinion Elvis or Johnny Cash?
@ARLukomski: Which is better Sky Sports or BT Sports?

No championship fixtures this weekend so its 3 from league 1 and 3 from league 2.
Saturday's Fixtures:
Bristol Rovers v Plymouth Argyle
Blackpool v Bradford City
Southend United v Peterborough United
Northampton Town v Cheltenham Town
Oldham Athletic v Newport County
Tranmere Rovers v Colchester United

Very simple game, follow the number on from the person before you and answer using a fact using that number.
Here goes.

hes been pretty good since returning, i do prefer him in midfield but i hope he can help the defence stable themselves.
-
Let's just hope he can bring some sense with him now that he's returned, someone has to be more alert at the back.
-
Looks like they decided to interview him early, as this falls into the previews put out by the club. The interview is fine, the guy asking the questions sounds a little annoying but its good.
-
So the American football season has started and the ice hockey season (english) and the American League isn’t far behind. Tennis and cricket have been there all summer as well as athletics etc
So my question Does anybody like another sport apart from football.?
-
I just caught the end of piece on Radio Nottingham about renaming the Meadow Lane stadium, they said the club were actively seeking sponsors to rename the stadium but wanted to keep Meadow Lane in the title.
What do you think?
I’d say it was a good idea if it brought in some much needed cash.
-
So I wanted to apologise for my posts after County’s last defeat.
At the weekend I made some posts encouraging us to stick together as a fan base and a group to support Notts through rough time. I think some people took it as I was trying to tell people what to think and what to do please take it from me this was not the case if anyone thought I sincerely apologise that was never the way I intended it to come across. Like you all I love this club and only want the best for it I myself didn’t want to think negatively just yet I just wanted us to stick together I could have put it better. Like everyone else I’m feeling frustrated and maybe should have put it in a better context and worded differently. Anyway I just wanted to apologise. No response from you guys required just wanted to you know that I didn’t mean to be forceful or rude or disrespectful
cheers guys and girls

Just for fun, I want you to post a gif image to show how your reaction would be to the current season for Notts.
I'll start.
