Well in about an hour setting off for Skeg. Should be able to keep posting (just not as regular during the day due to the rides!) as the log cabin we're in has internet hopefully. Hope everyone has a good week and 3 points on Saturday. (Got puffin browser on the mobile so magpie player will work. One secret headphone in he ear under the hat and the wife will never notice - until we score and I start cheering. She'll think I've gone mad!)
Best wishes one and all.
There's a programme called Pre Match on Radio Red tonight and Mark Stallard is a guest it might be interesting if anyone can tune in I think it's 6-7pm.

I try very hard to make signatures stand out, this might not seem as "flash" but I had a lot of fun making it. It's certainly more creative than it seems but I do like playing around with PS.
Hopefully HD and others like it, I wouldn't be disheartened if not.

Random question, just for a bit of a fun really. If you could go back and re-visit one game, be it a Notts game or a game you saw on TV, whatever, which would it be and why? We've all seen some crackers over the years so come on, if you could go back and sit through ONE game again, what would it be?

Good old Kasper had the cross bar height checked ahead of Leicesters defeat by the hands of Swansea.
Very amusing story, surely he can tell the difference being stuck between the posts. I would have thought clubs would check to make sure everything was okay when they visit, so this is just very odd.
The Blue Army's travelling support was treated to the peculiar sight of officials checking the size of the goalposts ahead of City's Premier League clash with Swansea at the weekend.
And City stopper Kasper Schmeichel may well have considered having checked again as the Foxes went down 2-nil to their Welsh rivals, courtesy of two goals in either half from Ivorian striker Wilfried Guemiand.
During their pre-match warm-up at the Liberty Stadium, City's goalkeeping team became suspicious that the goals were too big and raised the issue with officials.
However, a quick check confirmed their height at the regulation eight feet and the game kicked off as scheduled.
Speaking after the game, manager Nigel Pearson said: "The keepers felt they looked big. Garry Monk's had enough controversy recently, so it was prudent to check it out, it was quite light-hearted."
Thoughts?

Nigeria given deadline to avoid seven-month ban
Nigeria have been given until Friday to overturn a recent court ruling that voided its football elections or Fifa will ban them until May 2015.In a letter sent to the Nigerian Football Federation on Tuesday, Fifa said their directive must be met by midday, 31 October.
Fifa wants the reinstatement of the NFF board that was elected on 30 September.
If Nigeria fail to comply, they will be expelled from qualification for next year's Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles are the reigning champions but are now facing the very real prospect of missing the chance to defend their title at the 17 January to 8 February finals.
Already this year, Nigeria have been banned twice for government interference in the NFF and Fifa warned the country in September and again in October that another incident would result in a lengthy ban.
Fifa's action follows last week's ruling by the Jos High Court annulled last month's election of Amaju Pinnick as Nigeria Football Federation president.
Justice Ambrose Allagoa ruled that the elective congress of the NFF should not be recognised as the Jos High Court had put in place 11 days earlier an order that the elections could not be held.
This injunction was brought by two members of the previous NFF executive led by Chris Giwa, which was stripped of its authority after elections that took it to power on 26 August were deemed invalid by Fifa.
The court order was ignored by the NFF, which went ahead with their congress and the Pinnick-led executive was put in place.
Justice Allagoa has ruled, however, that the original injunction remains in place and therefore the 30 September congress should not be recognised.
Fifa's letter said: "As stated in our previous letters, Fifa stressed that should the electoral process and the instalment of the newly elected NFF board be affected by any interference, the case would be brought to the attention of the appropriate Fifa bodies for a suspension of the NFF until the next Fifa Congress due to take place on 28 and 29 May 2015.
"We thus hope that by Friday midday, we will receive the requested evidence in order to avoid the adverse consequences of a suspension."

This is a fantastic story on the official site about the £10,000 lifeline winner who is partially sited and listens to Uncle Colin on the radio these days as he can't get to the matches very often.
It's a real heartwarming story and I urge you to watch the video of the cheque being presented to him by Colin, Les Bradd and Shaun Derry, it will bring a tear to your eye and a lump to your throat. What a great club we have.

Chelsea needed a late own goal.
The Blues struggled on a wet Greenhous Meadow Stadium pitch, but took the lead after the break when Didier Drogba swept in a half-volley.Shrewsbury scored a deserved equaliser 13 minutes from time when substitute Andy Mangan stabbed in.
That joy was short-lived as Jermaine Grandison turned in Willian's cross.
It seemed extra time might be on the cards when Mangan, recently back from injury, poked in to send the home fans into raptures.
But just four minutes later, Micky Mellon's side were dealt a cruel blow as Grandison, who provided the assist for the goal, nodded into his own net under pressure from Drogba.
Chelsea, whose line-up contained Drogba, Oscar and Andre Schurrle, barely threatened a well-organised Shrewsbury defence during the first half.
However, Jose Mourinho's men improved markedly in the second period, and took the lead three minutes after the restart when Drogba latched on to Mohamed Salah's pass and slammed his shot past Jayson Leutwiler.
Shrewsbury Town manager Micky Mellon told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"We've had an amazing Cup adventure and made a lot of friends along the way, but we're out.
"We've played in a way that has been pleasing on the eye and beat some very good teams.
"But I am hugely disappointed because we pegged it back to 1-1. And I can't believe I'm standing here actually saying I'm disappointed we haven't beaten Chelsea, but I couldn't be more proud of the players.
"They are bringing on £300m of talent but we caused them all sorts of problems and you have to give my players unbelievable credit for that. They all ran themselves into the ground."
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho:
"Yes I was worried when they equalised but we go through and Didier played a massive part in that.
"Hopefully he will be good for the weekend but we will have to see because right now his character is stronger than his body.
"Maybe what he has done today is through his character - not his body.
"That's what makes players special and any of the young players lucky enough to play alongside him, learn from that."
Jose Mourinho's side found it tough going in Shropshire but took the lead through Didier Drogba
Andy Mangan had only been on the pitch for two minutes before scoring
There was no fairytale for the Shrews, though, as moments later Jermaine Grandison scored an own goal.

Yesterday we decided to have a spontaneous trip to Leicester, which turned out to be very pleasant despite the rain back home. Now we was thinking of going to Newark again, perhaps surprise some family members which I haven't seen for awhile but I felt this would be unfair to my Aunt Daisy (not really my aunt but my Grandfathers Sister).
On the train we met and spoke to a conductor called "Martin".
He really took a shine to our children, especially @super_pie which I will add really helped cheer him up. Martin told Jake some jokes, he asked some questions between doing his job. He seemed very interested and pleased to see a family of "Notts County" fans traveling to Leicester.
Now one of the questions he asked went like.... "Notts County receive a special and very expensive gift each year without delay, do you know what it is?"
He then told Jake the story about Juventus and the famous "Black & White Shirt".
The answer to the question was each year Juventus donate a signed shirt by every player so that Notts can auction it off for charity. Now, I do recall hearing about this but I thought it was a one off. Just very interesting to see the story told and having met someone very kind like Martin.
Is this true? Anyone heard it? Thoughts and Opinions?
@Italian Magpies @erindoors - Can you shed any light on this? I am really interested in this. We're hoping to track Martin down and keep in contact.
