A new goalkeeper just became imperative

Featured Replies

I would question any fan as to why they feel we don't need another keeper bringing in, we need someone to take the load of Fitzsimons and we can't rely on those behind him currently.

Just sign a keeper Notts, there is no discussion to be had. One is needed and one should be signed.

No need for midfielders like Leigh Curtis and Charlie Slater suggest.

So again same old story notts loose (regardless of the competition) and simons “goal keeper” spills it and makes a hash .. so right now I’m saying a new goalkeeper is imperative free agents are the only way and nothing wrong with that.  if we are to even think about finishing in a respectful place and or at least have a happy remainder of the season. cause this is not on it’s embarrassing for a professional goalkeeper to make this many errors or mistakes ...

We definatly need another keeper because the current ones don't stop goals very often.

He’s gunner be the only goalkeeper during winter that won’t catch a cold as he can’t catch anything

The club can't continue to accept the mistakes that Ross Fitzsimons makes, people are saying how well he played at times yesterday but his overall performance wasn't good enough. He almost cost a goal in the first half which they missed and then in the second he fell asleep.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

He’s definitely having a bad time and action needs to be taken sooner rather than later, I’m sure Kewell will have highlighted the problem.

Let's hope so because adding strength to other areas won't be enough IMO.

In the meantime it wouldn’t do any harm to give Pindroch a start in my opinion, I think Fitz has lost all confidence.

Right now mate I tend to agree it can’t hurt.

It seems more a gamble to not replace Ross Fitzsimons than it would be to just go out and do it.

Training is one thing but he is not good enough at the moment.

He might improve under Harry Kewell but I don't feel this would be the case, people have wanted others out for far less.

Fitzsimons has a lot to do to prove he's good enough to be the number 1 keeper.

If he doesn't start to improve, I feel he will be a lost cause and the difference between relegation or safety. it's frustrating as he looked more than capable last season I don't accept the arguments about the defence because he should be organising them.

I totally agree mate the keeper is the last line of defence and should organise the defence.. he needs a conference boost quick and maybe extra training because fans are loosing patience with him

A new keeper looks desperately needed, the team improved by the sounds of it against Grimsby but Fitzsimons still sounded lost.

Fitzsimons sounds like he's losing it, twice it sounds like he's been rash with directing his frustrations out on the opposition players.

Just watched the goals conceded. Don't think any were the keepers fault. Defence still not good enough
