Well here we go ladies and gentlemen, It looks like business is up this year at Meadow Lane. Evina looks really good as a quick pacey left back which will suit Hemmings and Dennis's style of play a lot more. Turley looks strong but wasn't who I was hoping for in Anton Ferdinand unfortunately. I feel as if these were panic buys to show the fans that Hardy has seen that there is problems in defence. However this provides lots of competition at the back now and is exactly what we needed. Bird is out of the picture I think which should mean he has to go out on loan in January.

Let me know your thoughts down below.

The pair look like good recruitment, we will have to see how they fit into the squad but it's good to see the defence being improved.

I reserve judgement for when I have seen them play, they look good additions and I hope both can come in as first team starters.

They look to be solid signings.

I think Cedric Evina looks to be the best, as I am not sure about Jamie Turley's experience but both look like they are capable of helping.

If panicking, sign more defenders and don’t address the two positions that really need sorting! Until we replace the keeper and tighten up the midfield, I fail to see much improvement.

Fantastic business, I am well happy with the arrival of both Cedric Evina and Jamie Turley.

Good signings, I hope they fit in well and offer Notts the protection needed to start climbing the league.

This.

I don't think it's panic buying as such but I wonder just how many outfield players can be signed before the attention to turns to the real issue.

i think there is too much pressure on ross fitzsimons for him to succeed, he needs to be more vocal but i think these are good additions to the squad. evina looks a quality signing for this league.

They just have to settle and work hard to finding the strongest squad for the games.

I am pleased with the arrival of Evina and Turley.

I hope they do well for Notts.

They both look like useful signings.

It will be interesting to see how they fit into this squad but I hope they can establish themselves and improve the back four.

I will have to wait to see what they do, I hope Kewell has focused heavily on balancing the attack with defending.

Both look like they can be good signings, I hope to see them start today and I will give my opinion in the match ratings.

Jamie Turley on the right seemed a weak link for Notts, I wasn't impressed but it was his debut after all. I just feel he looks like a Non League player trying to pose as a league defender.

Cedric Evina showed class, impressive first half but struggled somewhat in the second.

He looks a much better defender.
