Has anyone been or is going to Goose Fair this year?

I don’t think we’ll bother, we sometimes go just to have a wander round but the rides are very expensive and I often wonder how safe they are.

I have not bothered, it just gets too busy and I hate all that. The enjoyment isn't there as much now I am older.

I'm not going.

My girls have had the day off, but they would have rather gone to school themselves. None of my family are really all that bothered about Goose Fair, it's too busy as @CliftonMagpie mentioned and we tend to prefer the Riverside Festival.

I have already been but I only ended up spending about a hour there before I decided to leave.

Not bothered. Heard some stories about gang territory and knives being used for hold ups there. Really not fussed about it at all ... been taken over by youths IMO.

I went yesterday, I like the atmosphere and I think it can be fun. I do think its expensive and is getting worse but when it attracts the crowds it does nothing will change.

Yeah I have been, it's okay but I don't feel it's what it used to be. There seems to be a lot more coming from other cities and areas these days, it used to be a thing for Nottingham but now it's just very busy.

We would have gone this year, but with me and the wife having rough colds this week, that’s a no.

We go away to Skegness for the October half term and normally save the money from not going to Goose Fair for the hols and the kids get more for their money at the coast!

No but if anyone has gone and have taken pictures I would love to see what it's like these days.

Me and my girls baked cakes and chocolate brownies instead. We havent been for quite a few years now.. its way too busy and expensive.

My girls have always had an inset day on the fri for goose fair but my son hasnt so we could never fairly take advantage of it being quieter in the daytime.
