What do you make of this photo?

Why doesn't Leigh Curtis or Charlie Slater set the record straight by asking why Matt Tootle isn't playing, even to go as far as if he features in the clubs plans?

All these rumours won't be good for the club but the media seem happy to ask to easy stuff.

It pains me to see some of the insensitive comments towards Matt Tootle.

He's the type of player who tries and gives 100%, for me he's more than good enough to start and should be used in my eyes. I agree with @liampie, I can't see much being involved. I know some are speculating that Kevin Nolan wants to return, but if Neal Ardley ends up being sacked. The club should go for strong experience and a new start.

There's nothing in the photo at all.

Why would Matt Tootle not talk to his former manager? I would be more shocked to see a picture of Neal Ardley ignoring one of his squad players.

Nothing, it's a photo of a current player speaking to one of his ex managers. I can't see Kevin Nolan returning.

I also don't believe for a second that Matt Tootle is causing any sort of trouble or attempting to conspire again Neal Ardley in the hope that Nolan will be appointed.

I can see why some will speculate into this and get the wrong impression, it seems since Kevin Nolan returned when Notts played Barnet that our performances have dipped somewhat.

I don't blame this, I think it's just a coincidence.

Same as the picture above.

Neal Ardley needs to put Toots back into the squad, despite Dion Kelly-Evans efforts he is no right back.

You are spot on mate kelly-Evans has pace gives everything but play him where those attributes can be put to good use. Tootles is experienced and w need that right now Β Β Β

I talk to my former colleagues all the time, it doesn't mean I'm going back.

It's a shame to see him out of the picture, but any manager will want players he can count on and will sacrifice a bit of quality for that if necessary. That's why we had Carl Dickinson and Nicky Hunt in Nolan's full season in charge - they were more limited footballers than Tootle and Jones, but could always be relied upon to do a job if needed. We didn't replace them last summer and ended up with a major problem in both full back positions when Tootle got injured and Jones' form dipped.

@DangerousSausageΒ Jorge Grant spoke to everyone when we played Mansfield last and he was there, I recall the boos from the KOP. ????

There's not much but speculation to be said about the pitch.

I'm not even sure it's worth discussing as there'sΒ nothing more behind it, nobody has come out with anything and Matt Tootle is still a Notts player as things stand.
