i know some will say that we dont know who will sign yet at this stage, but i would rather give the captaincy to a player that is already here and understands what the club is about.

main contenders in my eyes are:

sam slocombe
connell rawlinson
jim o brien (will he feature more if he signs a new deal and doyle takes a back seat)
richard brindley
kyle wootton

i think the obvious candidates are the two at the top, i can see it being given to rawlinson but i would choose slocombe myself. i know some are not a fan of a keeper having the armband but i think hes one of those players that could get the most of everyone else, including the defence.

Was always the stand out player v Notts

i am not suggesting there is more to this, but its always interesting when a player makes a change. calvin must have enjoyed his time on loan, so that could be it but i am hoping he does return.
