Iโ€™ve read recently that if Leicester donโ€™t offer captain Wes Morgan a new contract he would consider coming to Notts County for oneย season before headin to the states next season as his family are family are County fans. Would any one be happy with Morgan coming ย to Notts County.?ย

I watched the playoff game yesterday between Villa and Fulham and Iโ€™ve got to say I felt very sorry for our Jack, he was obviously targeted as a danger man and had to suffer some crunching tackles, including what looked like a deliberate stamp on his thigh right in front of the dug out and fourth official, definitely a sending off offence but no action taken.

There is no doubt he will play in the premiership one day but it wasnโ€™t to be this time.

Multi vote, choose those you hope will stay. Answer below who you want to sign new deals and why..

We are all gutted. We are all fed up, but now is not the time to rant.

save that for tomorrow!ย

Its Mr Hardy's birthday today.I think he's done an absolutely brilliant job for you pies.A shame we could'nt all be celebrating something extra special too at Wembley .A very happy birthday to you Alan.:super::sheep:

PS-It would be great if you popped on here now and then:angel:

As the season is over and there are no vlogs to make, what do you want me to do?

Notts season review?

League Two review?

Transfer videos?ย

So the scumbags are promoted. Cheated their way through the semis and 20,000 plastic fans turned up to support their club. I think this "boycott" for the sky blues will be short lived. Also just to top it off apparently their wage bill for the year is over 2 million pounds which has to be argued around some sort of finance fair play regulations.ย

How many of you guys have attend away games Iโ€™ve been thinking about it for sometime. Whatโ€™s it like is it a laugh I know that depends on the score line.

Does anyone know why everyone chanted "Oh Notts will win?"

For one game I could live with it but I found it very repetitive, I would have rather sung "I had a wheelbarrow" repeatedly but there are far better things fans can sing. I bet the Coventry fans wondered if we knew any other songs.

It must have added to the players nerves too.

now the seasons over what are your plans until the pre season? anyone up to anything nice?

So where is everybody's favourite UK seaside locations?

I'm the biggest fan of Blackpool, I think it's gone massively downhill and I think it's very chavy these days. I like Skegness and the surrounding areas, I've always wanted to go to Cornwall but I am curious if anyone recommends other UK seaside locations.

Has anyone been to Scarborough?

What a snake! Is there any loyalty in football left? ... I think not. He started to build something at Derby and was keen to make the most of his stay. He had the backing of owner Mel Morris and he's well and truly stabbed him in the back. Asking to talk to a club is embarrassing of a manager of his quality. More importantly does this affect our chances or getting Mason Bennett on loan next season?ย

how many times have you led pon?

go to your profile and see "days won", it shows you how many times your content has been liked the most overall out of every bodies posts.

what about you?

I stumbled across this video on YouTube, it's very well produced and it's actually very interesting. It's about why American beer tastes like water, I would encourage anyone who enjoys their beer or even has an interest in brewing should watch this.

@super_ram @Fan of Big Tone

27 May is the anniversary of Notts County's 2-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in the Third Division playoff final.

Tommy Johnson gave the Magpies the lead with his 20th of the season before Craig Short made sure of victory to end County's five-year stay in the third tier.

What memories do you have of the day? Were you there? Let PON know!

What scores would you predict for the two remaining play off finals

Shrewsbury Town vs Rotherham United

Exeter City vs Coventry City

So what is your favourite football film of all time.???ย

ย

So the big day is upon us - the Champions League final between JUVENTUS and Real Madrid!

As fixtures go, I really don't think you can go any higher than this - the biggest, most famous, best-known and most successful team in world football against... Real Madrid.

Now, I've just found out that BT Sport will be showing the game for FREE online (if you're based in the UK) so... it'll be a good un!

This is BT Sport's YouTube channel so just visit https://www.youtube.com/btsport and it'll take you to their landing page, where you can then select a number of options - 4k or VR (I'll just click whichever and see what works lol).

So yeah, cancel all other plans for tonight, because our Italian brothers will be winning the Champions League (hopefully)!

FORZA JUVE!!

I am hopeful that Michael O'Connor will sign a new deal, I would give him at least another two-year-deal because he's a fantastic leader on the pitch.

Last season Kevin Nolan spoke about wanting these types of qualities in the signings he made, where I feel the majority had a good "chemistry" on the field. I don't think we had many true leaders, I wasnt a fan of Richard Duffy having the armband. His nagging complaints to the officials seemed something which always would result in him being given cards, not the way a true captain would behave in my opinion.

Hopefully Michael O'Connor will remain at Notts and continue to be the team captain.

It would be great if we had a few more leaders on the pitch, people capable of picking up other players and focusing on getting results. Do you hope for the same thing?ย

Well, having had a few years off PoN, Iโ€™ve been in discussion with Chris as to organise some sort of return. I see @Fan of Big Toneย beat me to it by a few weeks.

I wonโ€™t be posting tonnes as life, as it I see for us all, is busy, but hopefully I can add something to the growing community.

Nice to be back. Time to check on some of the posts tim see whatโ€™s been happening in my absence.

ย

anyone for a political debate? Joking btw.

26 May is the anniversary of when Notts went to Wembley to take on Bradford in the playoff final and sadly were denied promotion in a 2-0 defeat.

Dan Hamilton opened the scoring for the Bantams just eight minutes in and, despite a Magpies fightback, Mark Stallard struck after the break to send the Yorkshire side up.

What memories do you have of the day? Let PON know!

On match day where do you sit and are you a season ticket holder or pay as you go.

We took our grandsons to Frankie and Benny's for a treat because they've been very good this week while we've had them. So I thought I'd write a review.

The welcome
We walked in and after a wait of no more than 30 seconds we were greeted by a female member of staff who was very friendly and tried to engaged the boys in conversation asking them if they'd had a good day at school etc., however they were a little shy but she cheerfully took us to our table and made sure we had menus and left us to settle in saying she'd be back in a minute. Score 9/10

The Service
On the whole the service was pretty good, the waitress returned and took our drinks order and left us to peruse the menu, when she brought the drinks she asked if we were ready toย order, which we did, the wait for food was around 20 minutes which was acceptable. The boys had kids menus with puzzles and pictures to colour with supplied crayons. Score 9/10

The Food
The was pretty varied, being an Italian restaurant of course there was the usual, pasta dishes, pizzas etc., but also salads, vegetarian options etc. The kids menu again gave a fair amount of choice, the kids could choose a main, two sides, a dessert,ย a sweet and a drink for a set price. There was a choice of big appetite and small appetite, which was good because the youngest doesn't eat a lot. There were healthy options on the menu too which for kids is good. Our eldest grandson had sticky BBQ spare ribs with peas and sweet potato fries, followed by chocolate fudge sundae with a drink of fizzy. Youngest had the small appetite dish and chose chicken skewers with fries and peas, followed by Ice cream slider and a drink of apple juice.ย Feeling we ought to be healthy I had Fillet steak on a bed of salad (even though I really fancied a pizza) Mrs. BigTone had Salmon fillet and salad, neither of us had puddings.

Overall the food was good with decent portions but not too big and the selection varied. Score 8/10

Value for money
The kids food was ยฃ7.49 for large appetite and ยฃ4.99 for small appetite, our main meals were ยฃ12.69 for my Steakhouse Salad and ยฃ13.99 for Mrs. BigTones Salmon Salad. I had found a voucher online which gave us 40% off the two main meals saving us ยฃ10.68 which the waitress cheerfully scanned from my phone without any quibble. The whole meal including drinks came to ยฃ34.06, I left a tip of ยฃ4 so ยฃ38.06 in total. Pretty good value for a meal for four. Score 9/10

Ambience
This is where it gets slightly negative, there was piped music which I thought was much too loud and made it difficult to talk, although I did like the music choice most of which was my era. There were two people celebrating birthday's on different tables and twice during our meal the music was ramped up really loud which actually made me jump and a happy birthday record came on, nice touch but did they have to scare us half to death? Score 5/10

Overall Verdict
A fun place for a family meal, good, fast service, friendly staff, value for money but if you want a romantic meal out with your loved one I would give this one a miss and try somewhere a bit more intimate because you won't hear your loved on whispering sweet nothingsย :heart:ย :joker:. Overall Score: 8/10
