Do you still have a habit of texting people?

Messenger apps have taken over mobile communication allegedly.

I was told by a client a few days ago that I am old fashioned for texting him that the delivery would be ahead of the scheduled time, this made me laugh but I wonder if texting is a common mode of communication still these days?

Do you text people?

I use what’s app more than text now, Facebook messenger seems very popular too.

I do a bit of everything whats app, messenger, text etc. I talk on the phone too (landline)

I text my friends all the time.

Due to other ways of sending texts, you can get some cheap deals for a good amount of texts per month. When your low on data, they come in handy but I prefer texting myself because people tend to reply quickly.

I don't use any apps to text, I do to send messages but that is when my friends are online. So I still do text a lot but I would average around 200-300 per month.

I text people all the time.

You don't need always data to use the messaging services and sometimes you can just waste your internet on them. People sending videos, sound clips, gifs etc

I text still, mostly family and the odd friend. It's something I have been encouraged to do more.

I only text, I don't use any of these messaging apps which require a connection.

I still text more than I message anyone over the internet, I think younger people spend more time online though but I'm that rare exception to the rule.

I text a lot, I still communicate with my former employees and family via SMS. I don't use any of the modern ways to communicate either, just plain texts.

Hardly ever now. Messenger is my real point of contact. As well as phone, I can pick them up on the IPad or laptop so regardless of what I’m doing, I’m ‘connected.’

Yes, I text a lot and I usually run out of my allocated allowance. I don't think texting is dead.

Yes, I text and call people. Whatsapp for me can't replace them either because everyone has a phone number but not all use other services.
