Posted August 7, 20186 yr #1 I started a discussion a short while ago about if members still used and owned a PC, whilst I read that discussion and all the interesting comments made. I suddenly thought, mobile phones have literally placed most items you could ever possible think of. As I sat looking at my tablet, I looked at my watch and thought. Do people still wear this things? Another question for PON members, do you still wear a watch? To make it interesting why not share a picture of it below your reply? That would be different.
August 7, 20186 yr #2 i own a watch but i dont really wear it, i rely on my phone to tell me the time.
August 7, 20186 yr #3 Yes, I still wear a watch. I do not always take my phone out with me and I am old fashioned about time keeping.
August 7, 20186 yr #4 I’ve only just stopped wearing my Notts County watch because I got a Fitbit for my birthday in June, the Fitbit tells the time so I don’t need the watch but i do miss it.
August 7, 20186 yr #5 No, I am guilty of using my phone. I am tempted to get a smart watch or one of those fitness type ones. Most allow for more use, which is cool and I do want to try to measure my walking etc.
August 7, 20186 yr #7 I have a watch, but I don't wear it much. I just don't like things on my waist that much.

Ridiculous price when I bought it on a whim, but wouldn't be without it now. Great for accurately measuring stats, but also for quick communicating eg liking posts etc...all from the watch. Easier than getting the phone out all the time!
August 7, 20186 yr #10 I wear a watch & would feel naked without it, I will not have a Smart Phone as I don't want to become addicted to checking it 70 + times a day like the average user, no doubt very good when required but very addictive & building up a major problem for both now & the future.
August 7, 20186 yr #11 Not warn one for years due to work and not being able to. I have two but not used for a bit poor buggers
August 8, 20186 yr #12 I stopped wearing a watch years ago because I wasn't allowed to wear one at work and got out of the habit of putting one on when not working.. @Chris got fed up of me asking the time when we were on holiday one year so on my next birthday he, @cheeky~k8 and the grandkids presented me with my current portable timepiece.
August 8, 20186 yr #13 No, when my last watch broke I never replaced it. I find checking my phone does the trick, the always on function is a godsend.
August 8, 20186 yr #14 I am about 50/50 with how frequently I wear my watches, I sometimes forget when I am at work to put it on but I do still wear one.
August 9, 20186 yr #15 I'm saving up to buy a smart watch, I don't want a cheap one but a nice one with a good battery. I don't wear a watch currently.
August 9, 20186 yr #16 No, no watch. I had one when I was younger but I grew out of it and it stopped working. I have never replaced it.
August 11, 20186 yr #19 I stopped wearing one years ago because most irritate my sensitive skin and i could just check the time on my phone, but i bought a new one recently because i need to know the time when i volunteer at my daughters primary school every week and your not allowed to use your phone, even if its just to check the time.
August 11, 20186 yr #20 I wear a watch only if I am going to leave my home, otherwise I don't bother.
August 11, 20186 yr #21 Yes, I wear a watch. I'm not into the whole smartwatch thingy because a watch is a watch to me. Let me see the time and that will do.
