With the South African consortium set to talk to Lie Of The Tiger tomorrow, do you think this will be done this week? I'm quite annoyed with how long this has taken to be honest.

Wait, I heard rumours and fans have told me names have been revealed? I haven't seen anything myself.

The takeover was rumoured to be completed by this Wednesday, now this doesn't come from any sort of reliable source, but it's consistent with what I've been told (including from people unconnected to the club). Knowing the way things are at the minute, this could happen and we'd still be none the wiser to what has happened. Just like the club had been sitting on the retained this.

Supposedly that was to get clarification from those seeking to invest mind.

I’ve been bold by my cousin it will be this week or early next week

The takeover needs to be concluded, I worry what would happen if the interest in pulled but there's the positive of the fans. Anyone looking to buy a football should surely be impressed with one that has fans who sing none stop during a relegation battle.

This week or early next it’s being signed at the golf course.

We've been told so many things, how do we know which one is the truth.

Alan Hardy is a complete liar, unfortunately I do not believe a single word that comes out of his mouth, the sooner he has gone the better for the club. I am absolutely disgusted how us fans have been treated over this matter

the club needs to be more open with fans, hopefully it happens sooner rather than later. much needs to be done.

The club shouldn't lock up and shut shop to keep things quiet, they should be upfront because this would stop the doom and gloom mongers. The club doesn't seem to respect the fans which is something that needs to be addressed.

I am certain the take over will be concluded soon.

What’s this another date being thrown in the air !!?? Our club )whoever is pulling the strings) has let the fans down. Obviously certain  things can’t be revealed but the shutdown of information or assurance is nothing less than despicable, showing utter contempt for those who have shown loyalty and commitment during a gut wrenching season.

The Post might request the club string it out a few more weeks, whilst the papers are selling well. 😂

I would like it to be resolved ASAP, the fact not much is known can be a good sign but that doesn't mean its the most professional approach to handling any sort of takeover. Peoples jobs are on the line, fans are worrying about the clubs future.

What's the point in getting annoyed about it? The lack of information about the new owners' identity is probably down to them, not the club or AH. It's very unusual that absolutely nothing has leaked out, especially when we know who the other bidders are. That can mean two things: they're highly professional, or it's Russell King :D

Fingers crossed we'll know more on Thursday.

I hope, but we'll have to wait.

Why are people on Twitter claiming that its Thursday? 🥴

Early next week I would assume, with the intent from the statement and time to wrap it up officially.

It needs to be dealt with in enough time to get players in and sort out the ones currently in contract.

I am hoping its soon, I can't see it being done by the weekend. It makes you wonder why its so slow.

We all know the saying, no news is good news but in this case thousands of fans are dying to know that their football club will exist and be able to move forward from the shambles of last season.
