What's your display picture on PON?

What's your display picture on PON?

Very simple discussion, I would like members to explain or say what their display image is here on PON. So, you can share the background story if it has any meaning behind it - or you can simply just say what it is. I think there's some interesting ones out there, let's see what PON members have to say!

If you have a generic display image, you can alter it by visiting your profile and selecting the hover options to upload a new one. I am up for designing some and if you struggle, feel free to ask me to upload one by attaching your chosen image to this topic.

Mine gets automatically updated with my Facebook display image (sometimes referred as avatars in the old days).

The picture was taken a few years ago at Skegness, I was messing around with my children. If I recall correctly I wasn't in a good mood and, I thought by larking around it would cheer me up but also excite the children. As we walked around an arcade, my youngest daughter jumped onto a seat which belongs to a very big 'space invader' game, she then said she wanted to play it and my other two children then joined in.

I decided to jump in front of the screen and pretended to be a big monster, naturally they all laughed and proceeded to pretend to shoot me down.:lol:

Mine is just a generic "C", I don't know what to change it to that's why I haven't uploaded one.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Mine is a picture of a horse called Penzance on his way to winning the Triumph Hurdle at the. 2005 Cheltenham Festival.  He was owned by the Elite Racing Club of which I am a member and explains the first part of my username.  The black and white silks also appealed to me.  He was bred by the club and it was fascinating to follow him from a planned mating, then foaling, going into training through to winning the top race for his generation.  The fact that he won me a fair few quid might also have something to do with choosing him as my picture!

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

I changed mine today, it's a picture I took of my family a few weeks ago.

When had a picnic by a big lake whilst England played Tunisia, we had a brilliant time and the match topped the day off.

Mine in a picture of three apples, an apple pie and a baseball bat.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Don McLean

My photo is literally Big Bill.

He was an American blues singer, his style of singing and music takes you back to a more relaxing time.
