What are you watching right now?

I don’t watch a lot of television, but I have subbed to Netflix due to recommendations and I do have cable installed now in my home.

My question is......

What are you watching right now?

Do you have any suggestions on what to watch too? Let me know.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Waiting for the next series of the Last Kingdom to come out. I love reading Bernard Cornwell's books and have enjoyed both Sharpe and Uhtred's TV adaptations.

Other than that, I've been mainly watching Prime and currently trying to catch up on Carnival Row, but I'm struggling to really get into it.

I have been watching 'YOU' a Netflix series which puts Dexter to shame.

I also watched that "Don't ***k with cats" documentary, I honestly felt very disturbed. Usually, I like watching crime based things but this I found too sickening. I can also see why America take the p*** out of Canada's police force.

The fact that internet sleuths solved the case very little and, tried to mention it to the police.

It makes your mind wonder.

There's some sick ****ards out there.

I'm not watching anything, I have my TV on but its mostly background noise as I work on things.

I would welcome suggestions though?

Exhibit A on Netflix.

It's a crime documentary series about how police cut corners and arrest someone who looks innocent due to iffy evidence.

@Joshua I'll be giving that a watch, I've seen their stuff on 'Making a Murder'. I still believe it's a result to them not wanting to pay his compensation, so they've set him up as a murderer again.

I'm watching cookery shows a lot at the moment, nothing specific, just whatever I can be found.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

I second that! The Last Kingdom is superb and many of the characters are real people from history (albeit in some cases embellished by the author). It inspired to read the books too - I'm on the third one (The Lords of the North) now. If you start watching it now, you should be up to date in time for the fourth series, which is due in spring.

I've recently watched Russian Doll too, which I enjoyed (but I'm not sure how they'll squeeze a second series out of it).

Apart from that, The Detectorists is a nice comedy - it's on UK Netflix and I think on YouTube too. Also on YouTube is the excellent Medieval Lives series presented by the late Terry Jones, which I started watching this week. Click here for the link.
