I’ve just seen that The Southbank pub is hosting an evening with Kevin Nolan in a couple of weeks time, should be interesting to hear what he has to say.

Good morning PoN, another day dawns and we’re all still here, the sky hasn’t fallen in despite the result yesterday.

It’s a nice bright start here, food shopping is on the agenda for us, remember the old days when shops were shut on Sunday? How did we cope? Lidl is our favourite shop we’ve saved a fortune since we started going there.

This afternoon if it stays dry I’m going to bbq some pork steaks with a couple of sausages and have them with salad for our dinner, can I call it dinner or is it tea at 5-6pm?

Anyway hope you all have a great day, keep the posts coming let us know what you’re up to.

Which of the players do you feel can feature in the re-grouping of Harry Kewell's squad?

Players such as Hewitt, Jones, Duffy, Thomas have all been players who have started the season out of form. Most have not worked hard enough and I think a lot of the time it's the simplest things that they fail to do.

Examples..

Jones struggles to defend when he commits to going too far forward.
Hewitt fails to make those easy passes to a nearby player
Duffy switches off and leaves things to others to deal with
Thomas looks okay ran running at players but useless otherwise

Notts should expected better and more from some of the squad, its those players who let the team down.

Good morning it’s a big day for me and the wife, we are going to Derby to attend a course to become volunteer leaders for our SoBS support group for people who are bereaved through suicide.

We’ve been attending the group since our son took his own life in 2012, it has been a great help to talk to others in a similar position and when the last leader had to step down we decided to help and are now attending the course.

Its an all day affair so I won’t be around today to come on here or listen to Notts on the radio, I may get some of the second half if I’m lucky.

Its going to be a long day so wish me luck.

Please let us know what plans you have for today.

So here we go in just over 12 hours our boys take to the pitch away at Exeter.

It’s been a awful few months I don’t need to remind everyone of that.

But now it’s time to get behind the gaffer and our magpies the time for crying over spilt milk is done the time for unity is now .. I’ve said we win together we loose together so tomorrow and next week next month anytime  we need to unite and show the boys no matter what we are the black and white army ..

So from now on it’s a new dawn wear your shirts with pride and tomorrow cheer the boys and the gaffer on ... because right now the players need to hear us they are broken as we are .. no more negativity about the past .. that’s gone we live we learn  and maybe just maybe all roads lead to Wembley to put things right seek redemption or maybe you never know promotion to league one ... we are the black and white army and we fly together...!!!!

The new dawn starts here..!!!!

BELIEVE ....

So do you think it’s time to welcome another goalkeeper to meadow lane.?

Unconfirmed by the official Notts website as I write this but Sky news are reporting that Paul Hart has left Luton to join Notts, as predicted by our very own @hissingdwarf

So that's it I’m done with Hardy .. yet again opens his mouth without thinking saying he would never have brought County if he could turn back time .. I’m sorry this is not done it’s not appropriate  especially right where we are in the **** .. I’m no longer backing hardy. D03822E8-909D-4499-87AA-1FC319DB1457.pngn

What's the most amount of money you have ever found? And did you keep it?

I once found a bag filled with $20 bills during a delivery I had to make, at a service station rest room there was a brown bag just left in one of the toilet cubicles and being the person I am I didn't bother to check it. I just got out of there as quickly as I could and without drawing attention to myself.

2013-14: W3 D3 L17

There is a very serious problem with away form. Don't why. It's just a Notts thing

I've noticed a few clubs play a song over the tannoy when they score a goal, do you think this would be a good idea at Notts?

Now we've got Kewell and the Gang we could play this one every time we score.

Harry’s first game against a league side is tomorrow against Exeter. what changes do you think he will make formation and player wise even captain wise.?

How many people do on line shopping?

If you do who do you shop with? We always search online first when we buy anything and generally end up using Amazon, what do others do?

So it’s monday and it’s guess the magpie time me and gaffer had put together this one. Good luck everyone will reveal the answer on Friday.

So it’s a new dawn at meadow lane Harry is the new manager and begins his new role away at Exeter tomorrow.?

Are you looking forward to tomorrow’s game. ?

Who’s making the trip to Exeter then.?

For those o us who follow American Football, the season is finally here!

Been a massive lead up this time with a superb draft. Can’t wait to see the players finally take the field again over the next few days.

Anyone else follow American Football?

My team, the NY Jets, don’t play until Monday so I’ll be watching the other teams throw down the markers before Darnold begins, what I predict, will be a massive career in the game.

So what nick names have you been given then.? (Ones your happy to share)

Ill start

So Notts County defender Matt Tootle has revealed his gambling addiction along with mental health problems but refuses to let his demons beat him.

Matt Tootle is one of the fans choice favourites no matter what he is going through he never lets the pain show when meeting fans after the game weather young or old pies even when playing he gives every thing and plays through the pain.

As far as I’m comcerned Matt is a inspiration as a mental health sufferer myself I know what it takes to battle your demons and say I’m not done .. and keep getting up time after time.

Matt don’t want any skeletons in his closet he is honest with what happens in his life. He faces his demons head on and fights back for himself and his wife and children and his mum.

The support he gets from his family and fans helps him he has said that on so many accessions.

Tootle for me is a example of why u don't let your demons beat you and never give up.

This man is a true magpie ..!!!
