Sam Osborne has today penned a pro deal with Notts county.
The youngster has played 6 times for the magpies the latest was against Newcastle in the checkatrade trophy.
Harry Kewell after the game praised Sam Osborne his attitude and playing style and how he has a future.
Im sure a few of us thought it was just hype or false praise but it seems like maybe we was incorrect if today with the pro contract signing is a indication.

thoughts guys and girls
Tonight @super_ram Frank Lampard and players and fans can hold their head up high. They may be out the Carabao cup but they went out swinging and fighting till the end.
Chelsea took the lead through a Derby own goal by one of the Chelsea on loan youngsters of all people.
But Derby wouldn’t lie down and went straight down the other end with Cahill slipping Derby took advantage and made it 1-1 through Jack Marriott.
But chelsea quickly came up the park and would you believe another cruel own goal by Captain keogh to make It 2-1.
Derby again defied the script and scored an equaliser through Waghorn, giving Chelsea a sign of the intent to not lie down and quickly go out the league cup.
But another cruel twist saw fabregas score late in the first half but Derby would again refuse to lose and attacked nearly scoring.
The second half Chelsea started the more firm side looking like the premiership team they are Derby would slowly get back in to the game with with shot after and shot if not for the post Derby would have got their equaliser.
The Rams never stopped chasing ,they defied the script of making up the number and really dug in.
Every loose ball they chased, the players played for each other and never stopped believing they could get back into the match.
But full time would come and Derby would crash out but to a standing ovasion from both sets of fans and by no means to be disgraced and nothing to be ashamed of.
The rams now look to complete there return in to the premier league this season.
Good morning it’s been a bit warmer overnight with a minimum 8.7 degrees.
No trick or treaters for us last night, in fact I can’t remember ever having any since we moved here in 2011, our house is on a bit of a spur from the Main street and in the dark it’s not easy to find the gate so perhaps that’s why.
A quiet day beckons after the last few days, I’ve got some computer work to do but not much else happening here. What are you up to today?
Great news for Notts County youth goalkeeper Max Culverwell he has been named in League Football Education’s ‘The 11’ for October.

Good morning PoN it’s a bright start but very chilly the minimum overnight low temperature dropped to -0.3 you’ll need to scrape your car windscreen if you are going it early, personally I put mine in the garage but most people don’t seem to use garages for cars anymore.
The two cheeky monkey grandsons went home last night but they’ll be coming here soon for another day with their granny and grandad, we’ve got some pumpkins for them to carve but we’ll probably end up doing them.
I had a great bike ride with George yesterday he did really well and we went further than I did when I took his elder cousins, he really enjoyed it bless him.
Right we’d better get ready for the kids coming, have a great day everyone.
So the seaon is well under way all new summer signings are settled in there new clubs.
But the one that stood out was Cristiano Ronaldo to our Italian magpies Juventus from Real Madrid in another high profile signing.
But has Ronaldo made a impact on his new club.?

Good morning PoN it’s a tad warmer this morning with no frost, we’ve got the youngest grandchildren staying over this morning, as predicted they were up at the crack of dawn full of beans but they are playing quietly while we try to wake up gradually.
Freddies is being picked up at 9.30 and is having a day out with his little friend so me and George are going on a bike ride which will be fun, when we come back we’ll play some games and maybe watch a bit of football I’ve recorded but not had chance to watch.
Have a great day whatever you are doing.

based on mean of 5
Fitzsimons 5 Very well protected in the first half, thought he would be in for a quiet afternoon. Lack of challenges by Notts allowed the Swindon player tee himself up for first goal, and misfortune from Turley slammed in the own goal.
Tootle 5 Not the same player as last season, seems to play with a lot on his mind... Should have scored a truly iconic goal with such one touch build up. Stallard said he was injured when subbed, game changing moment in the wrong way
Ward 5 Not looking comfortable on the ball when playing out from the back, one scary moment that nearly cost us a goal
Turley 5.5 Unlucky with the own goal, plays with passion
Evina 6.5 An absolute quality ball in for Hemming's opener. Joint MoTM
Hewitt 4 another switch from midfield engine room to a defensive liability. How many times do we see this?
Milsom 6.5 Joint MoTM Gem of a midfield king pin performance in the first half, don't know what happened in the 2nd though
Alessandra 4 Many praising his performances this season but his sloppiness in possession cost us the first goal.
Boldewijn 6 Always the only "threat" when in possession but does frustrate with the quality of his final ball
Hemmings 4 Well how many chances does this guy need? Agana-esque performance, cannot fault his work rate but ability in front of goal is limited. The opposite extreme end of the spectrum to a "natural goal scorer"
Stead 5.5 Works hard, one powerful shot when it may have been better to have released Boldewijn in space.
Subs
Thomas 4 Wasted free kick when we needed something. Note of caution, Thomas and Alessandra were relegated with Hartlepool
Vaughan 2 Playing with red tinted specs? That pass to the Swindon player that led up to their winner, when there was no Notts player in that area of play. An absolute disgrace to the shirt
Dennis N/A

Good morning PoN, it’s a frosty start here the overnight low temperature dropped to 0.5 degrees so only just above freezing.
We had a great day yesterday with a rare opportunity to get all our lovely family together, we went for a lovely country walk and did some geocaching and then went for a meal. The four grandchildren were a bit shy with each other to start with but they soon got chatting and laughing it was lovely to see them enjoying time together as cousins.
Today our eldest two are going back home but first we hope to have a bike ride, then the youngest two are coming for a sleepover tonight so it’s all go here.
Glad to hear that @GrannyPie is still improving and I hope @Chris feels better today, we need the gaffer in top form.
Have a great day everyone, come and tell us what you’re up to.
Sad day for football and just as a human being in general.
The fact that 5 innocent peoples lives were taken after a football match through an aviation accident is devastating.
RIP Vichai, an owner and a man who gave a city hope, trust and promise into the city of Leicester once more.

So after the abysmal finishing of yesterday, would you start the guy in our squad, who scored more goals than any other player last season?

Good morning PoN, did you remember to put your clocks back?
The table top sale was a success yesterday we raised a few hundred for our charity I’m not sure of the final figure but it was in the hundreds certainly.
After that we took our eldest grandchildren to Pizza Hut in Mansfield it was nice but the bill was over £70, phew, I wished we’d had a takeaway. They stayed overnight and today we’ve got more fun planned for all four grandchildren together, it’s not often they see each other so it should be good.
Terrible news about the helicopter crash at Leicester City’s ground it sounds like the owner was on board and sometimes his family travel with him, then there will be the crew. Our thoughts are with all those affected.
Have a good day whatever you are doing.
Richard Duffy given the all clear to return
Richard took part in a light training session on Friday Kewell said “I’m happy to have him back off the treatment table it maybe to soon to throw him back in but we will put him through his paces and see what happens”.
Although it’s unlikely he will feature against Swindon in tomorrow’s key home game after his serious hamstring problem. But surely the relief is that’s another one off the treatment table.?
Hall suffers set back
How ever the on loan defender Ben Hall has suffered a set back on his return and has returned to his parent club Brighton.
Hall trained with the squad following a groin strain Harry said “He was up here a few days ago but he’s has a minor set back and will be off his feet for the next couple of days”
The gaffer is hopeful that they can get Hall back in the next seven to ten days and see how he is.

It's getting an absolute effin joke now.
Why is it Notts are consistently ruined by referees

Anybody else been watching the drama series "Truckers" on BBC1? Written by Notts fan William Ivory and set in Nottingham with plenty of Notts County references. Been really good TV, I'm not one for TV dramas normally but I've watched every episode of this one, unmissable! Shame it finished tonight, that'd be my one complaint - that the series was so short
