So County are of the fa cup at the first round with our league position that could be a blessing in disguise.

But right now I can’t help but thinking what we have lost by going out at the first round.

1- The financial side to things gettting to round four last season would have been worth a million or two on gate fees especially if we brought them to meadow lane for a replay. which all hopefully goes back in to the club for wages and other expenses which we could do with.

2- May seem daft but Notts did some fan events one watching the fa cup draw with the players and managers etc it was a good night to meet other fans and actually share some positives.

3- Drawing a good team in the third round maybe Man City or united away or Chelsea which would be a great matchday even more if it was a home tie.

I know right now our league status is on the line and maybe the first round elimination is for the best.

Whats your thoughts guys and girls

What do people think of the standard of commentary on a radio Nottingham. I love Mark Stallard but I think his summaries of incidents go on too long. In the game today he was talking about a good chance that Notts had just missed and I could hear the crowd getting excited and shouting about something and wanted to know what was happening, I wish Charlie Slater would cut him off more and tell us what’s happening. Sometimes it seems the summariser is talking more than the commentator.

Fair comment? Do you agree or disagree? Let’s hear your thoughts.

So guys and girls my question is simple out of 10 what would you grade the refs in league 2.

So we are in early November and season ticket holders who haven’t used there bring a friend voucher can still do so with the seven remaining dates that’s included below.

Maybe we should have kept it since the present scoreboard doesn't work any more.

For those that don't remember or are too young the letters corresponded with letters printed in the programme for matches being played e.g. Liverpool v Arsenal might be letter A, there used to be a man up there who's job it was to put the numbers to tell us the half time scores so Liverpool were winning 1-0 he'd put a one on the left hand side of the window marked A and a 0 on the right hand side.

Of course the Notts fans always wanted to know the Florist half time score so when he got to their score he used to have a little game, if it was 2-0 for instance he'd put the 2 up and keep swapping it to keep us guessing whether Florist had scored two or the opposition had.

I see Notts are moving to the most incompetent and most unscrupulous ticket agency. Money before people again.

It's not an easy illness to cope or deal with, however if any PON members are reading this and struggle with the condition themselves - please do try to speak to someone about it. Myself and most team members would be only happy to chat to you, I know @Magic magpie will stand with me on this and it might just make a small difference to have someone who can listen at the other end (without judging you).

Sometimes it's easier to take a step back, then reflect on your thoughts and at times as I know too well you need someone to support you.

I just wanted to make it known that we are approachable, I am and I know how the stigma can effect you.

You're never alone, even when those that say this don't mean it - there are genuine people that do. Place your trust in them and hopefully a difference can be reached.

The past few games under Harry Kewell have been nothing but disgraceful. Constantly picking the same woeful players week in week out and tries to play passing football using Kristian Dennis as a target man. Today was absolutely woeful from the team selection to the second half performance. But we'll have people who didn't go saying that he should stay. Kewell out.

Good morning PoN, it’s a cloudy, rainy start here and a bit cool. It’s Remembrance Day and the day when we take time to remember the brave people who died so that we could live in freedom.

We’ve had our two grandsons overnight but they’ve been as good as gold which we are glad about because we were exhausted after our use day yesterday.

They are being picked up soon because George is marching with the scouts for Remembrance Day.

Have a great day everyone.

So county head to oakwell for the first round of the fa cup.

So guess the attendance game if you fancy having a go.

so you can have two guesses one is the total number of attendance as a total then the second guess is the away fans which will be Notts this time.

Good luck guys and girls will reveal the answer on Saturday night.

So my question is this how many points do you think Notts can get from the following league games we have over the next month.

17/11/18 - 15/12/18

Cheltenham

morecombe

Carlisle

mansfield

Trammere

Fitzsimons 7 - Kept the score under 8

Turley 6 - Did what he could playing out of position. Almost scored a bicycle kick. Stood up to Mamadou Thiam well in the first half

Ward 5 - Did well in the first half but then he was part of the second half capitulation

Brisley 5 - Same as Ward

Evina 2 - I have no idea in the world what he was thinking for the 4th goal. With Jones just as bad I don't know why we bother starting a left-back anymore

Hewitt 1 - At fault for the second goal and just pure tripe

Milsom 1 - Part of a midfield that looks like it's been slimed by the ghostbusters virtually all the time. Pass back pass back what you gonna do, what you gonna do when Milsom passes it back to you

Boldewijn 4 - He tries but playing hoofball to him will never help

Thomas 2 - Get rid. First touch of a camel and can't beat his man. How Blades signed him I'll never know

Alessandra 1 - Generous 1. Head of a peanut and just goes round in circles. Like a yo-yo with a never ending string.

Dennis 2 - Played long ball to yet again. We never play to his strengths. He must be the most annoyed footballer in England right now

Subs

Etete 3 - Tried but the game was far out of reach

Jones 2 - Got barely any touches of the ball when he came on. Game was over by then

Dunn N/A - Completely didn't know he got subbed on because I was too annoyed

Kewell 0 - "Improvments." "Take your chances." We had 4 shots all game. 1 on target. Improvements despite capitulating second half. Says it's a free game then names an unchanged team. No game should be a "free game." Every game should mean something. That's basically saying "you don't have to do much today, the pressure is off." Tactics are non-existent. Playing long ball up to Dennis and Enzio. Puts four defenders on the bench. Wants to play good football but then starts the two least creative centre mids. Says players like Kellett, Patching, Crawford and Husin have got to work hard to earn their chance. What about the current starting x1? They haven't done anything to suggest they should keep their starting place.

So pop vinyls have released there Football range of player at the minute it’s only Manchester United and Chelsea and a selection of others.

But my question is this if they started to produce the Motts county range would you buy them.?

If your not sure what they are there are a few below

Good morning PoN it’s matchday, it’s going to be a busy day for me so I won’t be able to listen to the commentary because me and Mrs Big Tone are going To a volunteers conference at a hotel in Derby, we will be learning all about the workings of the charity we do voluntary work for and meeting other volunteers, it will be informative but tiring I expect. To be honest I’ll be glad when it’s over I’m not good at meeting and talking to people.

When we get back we are having our two youngest grandchildren for the night, while their parents have a date night.

I’ll try to get on here later if I can, meanwhile have a great day, let us know what you’re up to and COME ON YOU PIES!!

So I thought a few jokes on matchday may help us smile and start the day off right.

So ive done a few jokes below and I hope you guys would love to add your jokes to.

Why did the witches loose the baseball game.? Because their bats flew away.

why couldn’t the leopard play hide and seek.? Because they always got spotted.

father asked his son for his report card son says I don’t have it I gave it to my friend. Dad asks why son replied because he wants to scare his parents.

Why did the singer Adele cross the road to sing hello from the other side

Alan Hardy has been banned for 3 months for driving 77 mph in a 40 mph zone.

FA Cup - The Tykes (A)

Team: Barnsley

Date: 10/11/18

Where: Oakwell

What line-up should Harry Kewell opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

  • I came out of the event I’d been to and on the way home I switched the radio on just in time to hear the third goal go in so I switched straight back off again.

Let’s face it we didn’t really expect to win did we? But if I’m honest some teams of the past would have made a better fist of it, last seasons team would certainly have done better.

However it is what it is and it looks like we are going to have a serious battle to avoid relegation I hope Kewell and the players are up for the fight because right now it’s not looking good.

I listened until we went 2-0 down, then I switched it off. When Stallard remarked that we were basically playing seven at the back while 2-0 down I knew what was going to happen. Once again we've collapsed under pressure, once again we've been thrashed, once again it's an easy win for the opposition and once again we deserved to lose. Sick and tired of it.

Guys and girls I’ve got a question is there another football league or team you follow out side of England.?

All four English sides in action It was a match day 4 that proved to be intreating.

Mancheester United, 2-1, Juventus

Manchester City, 6-0 . Shaka Donetsk

liverpool,0-2 Red star Belgrade

spurs, 2-1 , PSV

so in a match day 4 that saw united play there best game in the champions league come from behind leaving them second two points behind Juventus.

city hit 6 past Shaka Donetsk with a Penalty that never should have been when sterling tripped over his own foot. Leaving city top just needing a point to quality and three to top the group.

Spurs kept there champions league campaign alive by beating PSV 2-1 in a very entertaining last ten minutes. Psv May have been eliminated from the champions league but that leaves spurs in third with a fighting chance to qualify to the knock out or at least Europa.

liverpool lost in the early kick off in what should have been Liverpool’s game on paper. But the loss now leaves second one point in front PSG and level with Napoli it should be a intreating last two games.

So the only two teams in the Europa league have all done the job to qualify for the round of 32.

Chelsea,1-0, Bayes

Arsenal,0-0,sporting

so both teams are officially in the round of 32 in the Europa league.

While Arsenal held sporting to a 0-0 draw that saw them qualify for the last 32 Welbeck suffered a broken ankle and other injuries ment it’s not the night that manager. Emery hoped for.

Chelsea in the early kick got the three points and kept their 100% record on track and maximum points seeing them safely through with two games left the only goal came from Giround who’s goal  droat seems to be over.

So the unbeaten run of Forest green rovers has come to an end leaving them outside the playoffs.

Before losing 2-1 to Northampton on the 13/10 they were just one of the four teams in the English leagues to be undefeated, the others are Man City,Liverpool and Chelsea.

After that loss they were still in the play offs but then Lincoln City  handed them their second 2-1 loss on the 3/11 to dump them out the play offs.

After such a great start can forest Green Rovers find their rhythm and gain promotion or will it be the play offs or is this the start of the slide.?

Question is who should we be giving more of a go? Personally I think Campbell.

Who do you think?

Remaye Campbell (17)

Kion Etete (16)

So pindroch is our second choice keeper he hasn’t played many minutes this season he got injured against Middlesbrough in the league cup warming up.

In warm up my self and @super_pie have Commented on him and seen how he dose warming Up. I’ve joked he looks like kasper schmeical.

Also spoke to a few people about him and what he could bring to the number one shirt.

But what’s your thought on Pindroch guys and girls.

So my question guys and girls is if you were Harry Kewell what would you change for Saturdays visit to oakwell in the fa cup.?

Good morning it’s a cloudy start here. I had a better nights sleep than the night before when I was tossing and turning for hours.

Today will be a relaxing day, we haven’t got a lot on except preparing for a full day course we are going on tomorrow, its for our voluntary work and is at a posh hotel in Derby with lunch thrown in but it’ll be a bit intense I think.

We aren’t having our customary curry tonight because we don’t want to smell of curry tomorrow, so we are having trout cooked in a parcel.

Later I’ll watch the cup match on BBC 1 can’t remember who’s playing but it’s a non league club. Have a great day everyone.
